Some young trees finally gaves fruits and I realised they were 6 or 8 among what have been planted by the municipality a few years ago.

We had circled around for a bit looking for an open bakery on a Sunday afternoon. We could find out of course but at some point we realised we were parked in front of a dumster full of bread. What a waste!

I sometimes disagree with this video when it comes to frugalism. Frugalism is more than breaking the cycle of overconsumption and over-wanting to consume. But from a simple living perspective, breaking from always wanting more and enjoy the abondance we already have is a clear win.

Decorrelate my hapiness from money (won or spend) is one of my big simple living goals.

Simple cooking = simple living

The relationship advice were generally good, which is a lot of compliment for some internet content and I 100% agree on the part about forgiveness.

Decluttering is to me an important part of simple living.
The act of decluttering means to detach ourselves to what we own. Having a declutter space is having a calmer space but also one that is easier to maintain. Preventing clutter from entering our home force us to be more conscious, mindful and purposeful about our consumption.

I like the videos of deinfluencing. I find that there is not enough of good ones. Many are about not buying very specific item you might have never heard about. I like the one like that when they also tell you why you should buy less and not buy a broader category of item.

To me simple living means decluttering and frugality. It is synonymous with contenment. It means having less, not in a minimaliste sense of having empty space, but having carefully and purposefully chosen items that are fewer and suits our life better...
Which means simple living is also deeply linked to anticonsumption, at the antipodes of a life style where we always want more of things we don't really understand and where we don't really enjoy what we have.
