I don't remember the last time I went to r/piracy except to check the megathread. Most of the content I came across there are low effort memes and low effort discussions but I had to check it recently to see pics of sexy pirates then I saw all the drama.

I'm absolutely disgusted by subs whose essence supposedley is anti-corpo yet aren't planning to moving to another platform because they love Reddit so much! Of course, some mods in r/piracy actually made the effort to get people elsewhere but a lot of the users turned out to be corporate bootlickers.

I hope the users get charged a monthly subscription to access Reddit so they could come here to ask for modded Reddit apps.

Anyway, I don't really care what happens to r/piracy. There's a copy of the megathread here and if I need help, then I'm sure the users here are much more knowledgeable.

Dying? Twitter is very well "alive" despite everything that has happened. I don't know what will happen to Reddit and Twitch but I doubt these platforms will "die". They aren't dying really. Just becoming worse over time. People will continue using these platforms up to a certain degree.

Oracle has a tendency to pull the rug and take your VPS away. You can read about it on the forums or on r/oraclecloud. I still have mine but I've heard of so many stories about how Oracle will flat out just terminate your instance without warning.

If you want to push through with it, make sure to do regular backups (as everyone should do).

You might want to start scouring for DDLs and start seeding it yourself though you could also just wait. I've had torrents sit on 0 seeders for months before someone started seeding again.

Sorry if the thread has gotten messy but I feel you. I've deleted my Facebook account before I entered university but when I started, I had to create a new one because a lot of the online communication (announcements, group activities, etc.) happen there despite having better alternatives.

We are actually forced to use Facebook. Not in a way where there's a gun pointed at our head but rather societal norms forces us to. By deviating, people like us are called crazy or a nuisance. I don't mind being called crazy but I do want to get work done.

Satoshi Kon. It's unfortunate his filmography is short but he's made some of the best Japanese animated films.

I've used Debian on an old netbook with an Intel Atom and onyl 2GB RAM. The experience wasn't so bad but web browsing was definitely a pain. Video calling and watching YouTube (Firefox) was very sluggish and annoying to deal with. It's fine for working with documents and watching low resolution videos locally but that's about it.

I've also tried antiX but a lot of the defaults were annoying. If you (or your family members) can deal with it, then it's probably the best lightweight Linux distro out there.

In this case, I recommend just leaving your family members to do their own thing. From my experience, it is very hard to manage other people's Linux issues if you don't have decent knowledge on it yourself. If they don't want to upgrade, that's their problem. Not yours.

That's usually enough for me. I have all my docker compose files in their respective containers in the home directory like ~/red-discordbot/docker-compose.yml.

The only headache I've dealt with are permissions because I have to run docker as root and it makes a lot of messy permissions in the home directories. I've been trying rootless docker earlier and it's been great so far.

The last feature I liked from Discord was screensharing. Everything else since has been useless or outright terrible.

Kazuha. He was my second 5 star ever (first was Qiqi). I pulled him on release not knowing that there was a lot of negative impressions on him. I thought the grouping, animations, and stuff were so cool.

I think I'm going to pull for Alhaitham. My last husbando pull was Zhongli on 3.0 and my only other good Dendro character is Nahida.

Does Alhaitham pair well with Yae Miko? I haven't gotten a chance to use her much since I got her on release.

edit: Looks like I didn't save enough primos. I need about 20-30 more for my guarantee. Hope I can get enough from the events and abyss this patch.

Mouse and keyboard. I have never owned a controller my entire life.

Mass Effect series. Especially ME3 with the DLC's. I think it was the Citadel DLC that I enjoyed the most. The game was really emotional at times.
