hard to ban a spam attack without also stopping any new sign ups. Also high risk, because the moment some scumbag uploads an image like that, it's hosted on their server and they are legally at risk.

The nice thing about our economic system is that value is rarely completely destroyed, the money he paid for Twitter didn't cease to exist, it went to former Twitter shareholders.
They may be using it in more productive ways than he ever would.

Is anyone else having trouble giving up Reddit due to content?
Definitely less infinite scrolling, which has probably been good for me time management wise.
But yeah, just generally less content and posts. Also find myself ending up on reddit when doing internet searches for questions.

I mean, I don't think that framing is out of line for the age range of the protagonists.
Yes they are saving the world, but they're not exactly politically connected, aware, or savvy to initiate policy change.

Newly declassified US intel claims Russia is laundering propaganda through unwitting Westerners
It's scarey how much of the popular conservative media in the US seems to be paid off by Russia.
But you see it everywhere you look, there were just news reports of Nicholas Sarkozy bending over backwards to talk about how reasonable he thinks Putin is and how France needs Russia.
Fucking crazy, but some people really do listen to this shit and end up having their world views shaped by what they see as their trusted sources.

I think just brace yourself for a few minutes of figuring out the movement, camera, and ui.
Definitely took me a moment to acclimate, but loving it. Reminds me of the kotor and the first dragon age origins.

There has been value generated by Twitter that will outlive it though.
They established and refined an interface that other ventures like blue sky and mastodon are utilizing, and they delivered open source frameworks like Bootstrap will long outlive Twitter, and have brought value to the broader web development ecosystem.
