Oh boy, the stupid people found a way to defend being abused. It's good that people are working less. It shouldn't even make things more expensive. Now instead of 1 worker slaving away for 8 hours, we can have 2 workers slaving away for 4 hours each. It's nothing but beneficial for everyone who isn't profiting off of abuse.

Investment and commerce, for one. More people would be moving to Greenland, more work would be getting done, more money will be getting spent. There will also be a mixing of cultures, which could give some hope and a new perspective to those who are stuck in their ways.

Or they could just keep doing what they're doing, lol. I'm sure doing nothing will improve their living conditions compared to having the wealthiest nation in history invest.

Greenland has a population of about 60,000 people. Total. There's not much development or investment happening in the country. Most people are quite poor and drinking alcohol is what they typically do for 'fun.' Depression and suicide is rampant. Everyone in Greenland knows multiple people who have killed themselves.

I get that it's cool to hate on everything the US does and colonialism is "always bad," but if we can put our reddit-brains aside and actually think like human beings, then we might see how the US taking ownership of Greenland could benefit more than 'just the people at the top.'
