Subreddits you are going to miss?

I sure hope people aren't deleting all their old useful guides and troubleshooting posts. Yesterday I was playing Stardew Valley, I had a simple question, so I duckduckgo-ed it and found some promising links on r/StardewValley, but StardewValley was private. Very frustrating. I hope this isn't the norm. So, so far...that. I miss StardewValley. Besides that, I will miss r/bestofredditorupdates

What game is improved the most by mods?

I played vanilla Stardew Valley once, and now I'm on my second go around, and I've installed a bunch of qol mods so that I don't have to keep checking the wiki and my collections to see if I should keep or sell this item I got because I don't know if I need it for an achievement, and now I have a notification that it's an NPC's birthday and I can just check to see if I own or am carrying an item they have. It just makes the game less stressful for a completionist like me.

What's something cool that you've made?

I just finished redoing an old Excel spreadsheet at work so that things update automatically. It's a good feeling. Years ago I made a spreadsheet for my independent contracting work that I just had to input the date and it generated a summary of my work to give to my boss, I was pretty proud of myself. I also used it to understand which days I made the most money on so that I could make better decisions about when to work. I wish I could have a whole job just making spreadsheets...

What do you game on?

Reply in thread

I've been playing TotK since day 1 for over 100 hours and still haven't run out of content. Breath of the Wild was my favorite game of all time, and Tears of the Kingdom easily beats it. I wonder if it plays well on Yuzu yet?

What distro(s) do you use?

Arch on my computer, raspbian on my pi torrentbox/Nas, Linux mint on my neighbors computer I built for her, my wife uses pop os. I'm happy with my build for now, arch with xfce. I've had some bugs with xfce, but it's super duper fast, which I like.
