Yikes that’s sad. Another generation of men hating femcels shooting themselves in the foot because of inherited prejudice. There’s a big difference between calling out bad actors within your group (which I do with fellow guys regularly) and being misandrist. Seems like you got henpecked pretty hard

This article falsely assumes the only options are halting traffic to wait for an opening or dash faster than speed of traffic until the end of the lane closure then just expect someone to allow room so kinda a bad explanation of zipper merge and proper driving etiquette
Not sure if you took drivers ed but zipper merging is not zooming past stopped cars to last second dart over in the shoulder, it’s speed matching the lane you are merging into to weave in like a zipper. Crazy how even the name isn’t informative enough for people to understand the concept

30 seconds after an "Anarchist" brings up Israel:

Idk if you are commenting in bad faith but there’s a long history in the west (I can only speak to America specifically) of falsely using antisemitism as a shield for any criticism of Jewish culture or Israel’ actions
So your analogy of people accepting a black person saying something is racist but not accepting the same statement from a Jew is totally glossing over the actual history of what’s gone on in the west at the hands of ecoterrorist orgs like the ADL using this as an excuse to manipulate control and shape the narrative surrounding modern Israel
The reason people in 2026 don’t really just bend the knee the instant the word “antisemitism” is used is because the word has been so overused that it lost all sense of meaning colloquially (similar to how liberals have used the term “Nazi” so often that people are proudly blasting HH by Ye and find it funny)
Either you don’t know the history of Jews in America or you do know and you are doing exactly what I’m describing which is falsely using antisemitism as a shield to protect Israel or Jews from valid criticism

Few things bring me joy like showing just a wee bit of room to bait those fools to try to cut a dozen people off just to slowly close the gap as they approach my blind spot and force them behind me
I watch people get out of line then dash down the single file all to get 4 cars ahead so they get to work 4sec faster. No sympathy for antisocial scum

Well DAMMIT man, don't just stand there with your massively unkempt beard, bleached, pointy dunce hat, and lack of specifying either Lee, Levi, or Wrangler jeans!

A lot of people will attach a morality to their belief structure to basically validate their personal opinions. So it’s not a difference of opinion you are immoral if you don’t eat how I eat because I’m choosing the morally good diet. It’s why it’s hard to have disagreeing discourse these days as people have formed their identity around their beliefs and their beliefs are justified by a contrived moral framework so there can’t be a disagreement as this would be both a personal attack on their identity as well as a moral attack and admission of moral failure and who would listen to the opinion of an immoral person
This is an abstraction of a phenomenon that’s been happening in increasing amounts over the last couple decades and the sperging vegan is a very amusing example of this

Plenty of racists claim not to be racist. This doesn’t make their racist opinions suddenly not racist. Nice try tho

Not an idiot they are an intelligence asset. When all the evidence shows America couldn’t have and isn’t winning the war, anyone pushing the war agenda isn’t just a retard they are probably knowingly pushing the psyop. Any blue check claiming America has done anything but blunder this entire conflict probably gets paid by the CIA

Yeah true we still have csam circling around with over 300k IPs in the US engaged in distribution but don’t get to have the uncensored speech and freedom of thought. What a great deal so glad corporate America raided the Internet forums to make profit and totally stop the spread of csam

The majority of my currently held opinions on things have been shaped and influenced by over a decade of online forums discussion boards and conversations with strangers who hold different views as mine
I usually explain the phenomenon of the internet similar to that of the printing press. It makes the smart people smarter (easier access to information) and dumb people dumber (they can’t detect misinformation and manipulation thus will trend towards the worst possible outcomes). If you are a smart person without access to higher education YouTube and Wikipedia is the greatest invention of mankind; if you are a retard then YouTube leads you to binge watching Candace Owens

Yeah like I explained, you can’t comprehend the degree of how much of your personal life is exposed by data points deemed trivial. The data collectors believe in the value of your privacy as a marketable commodity so to me that’s enough reason. If Palantir thinks harvesting data on how and when I cook can provide them with even more valuable private information then that’s probably the case
For all you know, people who use lemmy and preheat their oven to 350 on tuesdays and listen to XYZ music fall into a category of humans that allows them to also know your romance life and how to best target you in vulnerable areas of your life in ways you don’t immediately identify
The reason to value your privacy isn’t “what is the first order effect of giving this information”. Privacy should be valued because you can’t ever get it back and can’t know the future so why bother giving up something that tech companies spend billions gathering from you just to save a 10sec walk to the kitchen. It’s never been about having things to hide or the mundane of what time you turn on your lights

Building a cheap NAS with shucked drives running Plex on unraid was the best decision ever. I won’t lie it’s not cheaper than just paying for 1-2 subscriptions and I have spent time managing it but having agency over the content available is so nice and if I don’t have disposable income for a time I can just not add new drives
Better quality, don’t need 7 subscriptions to access all content, and don’t have to worry about things getting shelved. It’s funny because Netflix in like 2014 is why I stopped pirating but it was Netflix in 2019 that made me start pirating again. Spotify is getting real close to making me pirate music again too

Ok and the depths of Islamic relations to Christianity and the west goes back literally 1000yrs at a global scale like that’s not remotely similar or in the same general ballpark as a temporary political movement in America centered around a reality TV figure. The rot of people being too retarded to not get fooled by obviously phony bad actors is as deep as it’s always been and isn’t better anywhere else; normies will fall for Trump type figures (or Newsom if you want to use the blue counterpart) because they are normies not because there’s some extraordinary amount of rot
Pedophilia in the west vs the way underage girls are treated in say Islamic countries I’d say in the big picture western society mogs hard in that department second only to China as they use capital punishment for predators. Even look at America vs France like yes there are elements of this baked into culture and yes it’s problematic but comparing that to a religion that allows for abuse of women and children is only muddying the waters and making western society seem worse than it is and the sand societies look better than they are
