2 minute sci-show answer why it isn't a good idea to mix certain medications & grapefruit.
Enzymes in grapeftuit can cause some medications in a safe dose to become too effective often in dangerous ways.

CATL launches sodium batteries: extremely durable and stable at –40°C
Reply in thread
Main advantage of sodium batteries: no volatile components.
I'm willing to take a capacity hit if the battery can survive a hit or puncture without exploding.
Yesterday I spent time cleaning junk drawers to find an expanded & bloated lithium ion battery pack that was still holding a charge. Went straight into a fireproof battery bag.
Can't wait til that's a thing of the past.
Also, sodium is far more sustainable plus abundant compared to lithium.

How long after starting Vitamin D supplements should you notice results?
SAD person speaking, supplements are not a replacement for Sunlight, I think the supplents do work.
But it's missing other effects that direct & indirect sunlight has on your entire body.
Vid D is synthesized in the skin by cholecalciferol & UVB light to create usable Vit D for immune, bone & calcium metabolism health.
If possible, walking in the forest/woods, really any green spaces due to reflective properties of the color @ 9-11am sunlight for max effect 20 mins daily.

Why Everyone’s Picking Up a PSP Again in 2026
I had the PSP-1001 a few months after launch & felt like a huge tech upgrade over the DS at the time.
I was wayyy into modifying it, (just going from memory) downgrading to firmware 1.50 & running games off of the magicgate pro duo to get faster load times & better battery life cuz that UMD drive sucked down juice fast.
The modded in web browser was very cool, of course it was basic but neat. Typing was a pain.
The custom firmwares were amazing.
It was way ahead of its time.👍

We all know there's only one option
I use default Debian settings for zram myself, simple setup.
Never experienced slowdowns, got my Raspi4 using it + utilizing a tmpfs.
Got a luanti server with the world sqlite data base living on the tmpfs which is very snappy & utilize a mildly complex script that utilizes rsync to copy from ssd to tmpfs at start & only the changes back to the ssd at shutdown.
Now when you want to do larger tasks that require gobs of space or you're using nvmes, Ive read that zswap is better.

Absolutely.
My battery bloated & was desposed at the time where I was still actively using the thing.
I just dug mine out of the closet & it won't fully boot into the xmb for some reason, but the custom M33 VSH Menu comes up.
... I don't remember how to work the custom firmware any more lol it's been too long.
The UMD drive no longer works either.
Bleach Heat The Soul 3 & 4 I think was the last game I bought, but was crazy the pirated games could be played online.

"One piece after the 37 episode gets really good"
🐒 The One Piece is REAL! ⚓
All episodes up to Episode 37 showcases well of what the entire series is all about.
If you are not into it by 37 episodes in, I don't think One Piece is for you.
I've also seen one too many haters turn their tune by then.
I no longer watch the series at release, instead I watch with other reactors that I feel like calling my Nakama.
🥹 Beware: prepare to cry & bring a towel to catch those tears. This series can & will draw raw emotion out of you.

dont do this.
I had just migrated all my old steam Library around a month ago from my NTFS drive to ext4 because I was recieving non-stop permission errors.
Other oddities were observed but cleared with ext4 usage.
The real move is to migrate away from all Microsoft products.
I'm not editing my fstab for steam. :gphn_cup:
On a bright note:
I finally got my Nvidia 980ti gaming on Wayland yesterday.
I couldn't get it to log into Wayland a month ago.

I have a rasberry pi 5 collecting dust, what are some neat useful things i can do with it?
If the pi ends up with a flavor of Linux:tux:, don't forget the ZRAM compression.
On my debian I use default settings and end up with nearly double available memory.
It also reduces disk usage by giving ZRAM priority over swap.
The rp5 could be a:
Luanti/VoxelLibre server
Kiwix Wikipedia server
Pi-hole of course.
My rp4 can run the three just fine.
Could try something like home assistant
(Rp4 is just a little underpowered but can function)
Could also turn it into a NAS.

You know, I'll check out that sort of port of GTA III to Liberty City Stories.
I am not really a fan of GTA III but after reading that write up about it does sound worth while to check out.
I'll try to get it running on real hardware but I'll likely play it within PPSSPP because my psp unit has been opened multiple times & has grime plus bubbles on/in the screen.
Just checking out custom firmware now is crazy how dated the software I currently have installed. Like another world

Why Flatpak Won and Snap and AppImage Didn't. - Cameron Knauff
As much as I enjoy ease of use via package management, I prefer AppImage.
Although I have more flatpaks, the apps I do have under appimage tend to crash less often compared to flatpaks.
If an app is available as a native package, 10 times out of 10 will go for the native package
I however, would prefer a system without flatpak & snap. :tux:

Sekyuritee
Heh, I have done just this for a friend of the family on Linux mint Debian edition.
It works out alright but I always feel weird setting it up.
I had made a little mistake after attempting to try out the experimental Cinnamon Wayland desktop on said machine & failed.
... Then boot looped ... Because autologin was setup.
Tiny bit embarrassing. Oops. Better keep backup minimal CLI Linux installs to repair/restore on seperate partition but seperate drives are best.
