Yeah that might be right. Still, I often feel that a comment like above discourages people and it should not.

So many people seem to think that. Just because you did not notice does not mean nothing happened. Just three examples:

• Iceland's PM resigned in 2016 after leaks showed his family's offshore holdings tied to failed bank bailouts
• Pakistan's PM Nawaz Sharif was disqualified by the Supreme Court in 2017, then banned from politics for life in 2018
• ~$1.3–2 billion recovered in back taxes/penalties globally, and law firm Mossack Fonseca shut down with its founders jailed for months
