Christina Ricci shared a post shaming Jimmy Fallon for having Conor McGregor on his show
How the fuck did.he end up in the remake of Roadhouse. Was that entire production and cast made up of right wingers and misogynists?
Did not a single person involved read his Wikipedia and ask "what the fuck are we doing?"

Australians now wary of both China and the US | Lowy Institute Poll

I don't need to call them out. They aren't spamming this instance with pro-China talking points. If they were they'd be called out by more regulars than just me. Why do you care what Australian's think about China so much?

I'm trying to work out if they have any other interest other than posting anti-Chinese articles on AZ. I see they post pro-Ukrainian stuff elsewhere but not here. Why is that? I asked them if they are a bot in another post. I don't see any evidence from their post and comment history that they aren't. I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt before reporting them as an undeclared bot being used to stir up anti-Chinese sentiment.

If you had any interest in the people that hang out here you would know that's not the case.
I don't see any evidence so far that you're not a bot. Everyone here might disagree with me about that, but at least they'd be confident to say I'm not a bot. It's the simple things, like posting a photo of a funny poster I saw, or sharing a link to a TV show I just watched and thought was OK. If the Swans make it to finals I might event post something about it this year. Maybe, been burned many times in the past 14 years though.
I think a lot people here might be hard pressed to say for sure that you're not a bot. As far as I can see, you only post about two issues from generally the same sources. China and Ukraine.
Why not just say where your interest in these topics comes from?

What do you mean by 'anything changed'? I only ask because I installed the AIO and haven't had an issue. Admittedly we're only using it for file sharing, the defaults were pretty much left as is. Does it tend to shit the bed the more non-default stuff is enabled or installed?

Kinda but not quite:
Costasiella kuroshimae are capable of a physiological process called kleptoplasty, in which they retain the chloroplasts from the algae they feed on. Absorbing the chloroplasts from algae then enables them to indirectly perform photosynthesis.[6]

BitCraft Online an upcoming AAA mmo goes open source
This is uncharted territory and we are essentially running an experiment. For this reason we’re not licensing or open sourcing the game’s assets - the art, music, and IP will still be protected for the time being. But all of the code that makes the game run will be made public. We have not chosen the exact license under which we will be open sourcing the game’s code, but it will be one of the OSI’s approved open source licenses.

Linus does not fuck around
It's disgusting that this post has not been removed, has a 96% postive vote ratio, has over 1K upvotes and is sitting at the top of All after almost a day.
This isn't a Linux meme. It's a celebration of abuse, abusive behaviour and abusive people.
All the people ITT condoning or making even the slightest accommodations for this behaviour ought to be ashamed and need to take a good, long look in a mirror.
What are the moderators of this community thinking? Are you reading this stuff? Do some of you agree with any of it?
Of all the things to celebrate about Linus and Linux this is not one of them.
There is no value in leaving this post up. There is nothing to be learned or gained by revealing just how gross some supposed Linux supporters may be.
Does anyone ITT seriously think this is how Linus or Linux developers want to be remembered and celebrated for their dedication and decades of toil?
Do you think anyone that's been on the receiving end of this kind of abuse on the job or in the home wants to jump onto Lemmy today to see this celebration of abusive and awful behaviour.
There are no excuses to be made. It doesn't matter that this happened many years ago and that Linus has managed to overcome behaving like this. The post itself is now the issue.
The many comments that have made even the slightest excuse for this kind of behaviour are awful and damaging to the reputations of Linus, Linux and the Linux community.
