Hey! I may be grumpy, and bitter, and lash out at children, and trick people into neglecting God's Word but... What was that other thing you said?

So I followed your link, found the quoted text, and and had a look around the website. I genuinely cannot tell if this is satire. Most of the links are now dead, but the ones that work seem to lead to serious sources. If it is satire, it is very high effort.

Anyway, I'm going to share with a friend who has more personal experience with this kind of thing and get their perspective.

U.S. to revoke legal status of more than a half-million migrants, urges them to self deport

The Department of Homeland Security said it will seek the arrest and deportation of those subject to the policy change if they fail to depart the U.S. in the next 30 days. Officials are urging migrants to use the newly repurposed CBP Home smartphone app to register for self-deportation.

"Please use our smartphone app to register with the gestapo" isn't the cyberpunk future I wanted.

Just why??

One of the things I thought was neat when I visited Japan was that some places would give you change back in a dedicated little tray with rubber "fingers" that made the coins easier to pick up, so you didn't struggle to pick them off a flat counter.

US Supreme Court upholds rules curtailing access to ghost guns

Reply in thread

I'm so fucking tired of this red herring. You cannot make a functional, reliable, and deadly firearm using a 3D printer without access to additional materials and processes. You may as well outlaw steel pipe under the same logic. Meanwhile, this law concerns kits that can be used to assemble a working firearm in less than an hour. 3D printing a gun is a fucking stupid idea that is nothing more than a bad faith argument to distract from legislation that actually has a chance to reduce violence. If you actually care about gun control, focus on the real issues, not made up ones.
