Beware Of Zombie Credit Cards That Work After Expiration

Not exactly the same, but there is not a great handle on auto pay either. I pay a sub for the gf on ESO, the CC they have on file expired at least 1 CC cycle ago and they are still happily taking the money for her sub, on one hand WTAF??? on the other hand since she plays it all the time I just let it slide, when I get my next renewed CC I will ask my bank why they are allowing an expired card to still function. So far as my physical cards I always cut the mag strip in half and then several pieces, and the chip once in half.

God damn do I hate lawns. Most places around here with a "yard" have grass, but there are a few islands of sanity where there is no grass only native flora. I get it that a well manicured lawn does something satisfying to the brain of a lot of people, even myself when I was forced to mow, but seeing these native flora displays has a satisfying air of controlled chaos bringing, myself at least, a sense of calm. They can also thrive on what the environment drops on them, or doesn't. Even in our water rich environment it was always such a waste

[SOLVED]Does anyone remember the name of this, I believe, SNES or Original Playstation RPG game?

I will look up game play when I get home.

We used to go to a store called Microplay that used to rent out games for consoles at an amazing price: $1/day on 30 day rental and to switch a game it only cost the tax that would have applied. I think we rented/finished 80% of the ps1 games they had in stock, usually games took about a week for each of us to finish, we def got a great value out of it

what the hell do i do on the internet now that ive all but abandoned youtube and reddit has abandoned me?

Off line: Touch grass, read a series of books, vanish into your retro/Current game library, listen/watch your media library, meet people in your community

Online: IRC, USENET, Fediverse

I am sure I missed a few many things that others will correct.

I'm getting prepared to leave the net altogether, at that time I will spend time down at the river reading books and avoiding the damn cobra chickens that love the same area

I'm Uninstalling Windows. – The Linux Experience by Vex (video, 46:52 mins) on Aug 24, 2026

and it dropped me into a Windows recovery prompt

I discovered this bloody annoyance in XP I believe, or maybe was 98. The way I used to get rid of it was to start the install of whatever OS, format the drive in one large partition, reboot, then install whatever OS I was going to install and partition accordingly. Took a few extra minutes but well worth it vs doing the whole install and remove files later/tell current OS to ignore other files.

I'm a "Loonixtard" now, according to someone that jumped on my live lol. I don't talk about linux, unless someone asks, I just have some tags that state I'm on linux
