This used to happen to me a lot before I started using an e-reader. I found that if I put the font on the 'open dyslexia' font and bump up the print size significantly, this rarely happens anymore. It's strange since my eyesight is 20/20 so I don't have a problem seeing the words, I think it might be that seeing all of the other text on the page ads eyestrain and distraction.

What are some reddit communities you wish to see live and more active on lemmy?

I feel like ‘fan’ communities like Star Wars and Halo have a better chance at being positive communities with constructive discussion on lemmy because the community here seems like they want to genuinely care about discussion. Those types communities got to a pretty awful state on Reddit because the loudest ‘critic’ would always receive the most upvotes, despite usually having overly nitpicky and poorly thought out criticism.

You could always subscribe to multiple! We’re used to having one mega community on Reddit, but the beauty of the fediverse is it’s diversity. You may find that different versions of similar communities have different styles for posts or content quality!
