What's the most unforgivable sin done in media that you're still bitter about?

The One Punch Man anime turning into One Frame Man in its third season.

From battles consisting of transparent PNGs sliding from the bottom left to the top right corner of the screen, to ludicrous censoring techniques like replacing a cigarette with a lollipop.

For the fourth season they just inversed the poster from the third season. Tbf it will be actually Season 3 part 2, but it shows they aren't even trying.

Juxtaposed to this is the Dorohedoro anime, that also dropped a new season this year, after six (!) years.

The long wait had a good reason. The animator loves the manga, but was busy working on the Attack on Titan anime and didn't want to rush Dorohedoro's second season. It's a huge improvement over the first season, refining its mix of 3D and 2D hand drawn content into a wonderfully horrifying experience.

After season 2 i already suspected we were not getting to see Garou's growth in a quality matching season 1.

After seeing the now infamous Garou slide right in the beginning of the season, i buried any expectations i had.

Did you still watch the complete season? I know many stopped watching half way through.

I watched it all and besides the drop in quality, i was left confused about how the anime will handle the retconned parts of the manga.

It's already an effort to keep up to date with only the manga and now the anime mixed it up. Some parts are adapted from the retconned version, while others parts are not.

It really seems that their decision depends on which version of a chapter will be lower effort to animate.

They even stated the correct reason to wear a mask: to trap the germs against my face, so others don't get infected

It's like they don't compute the idea behind it, it stops at me me me

Delaware native Aubrey Plaza plays off Taylor Swift’s ‘childless cat lady’ post with her own Harris-Walz endorsement

For anyone not willing to turn off their ad-blocker:

Thursday, September 12, 2024

Move over, Taylor Swift: There’s a new “childless cat lady” endorsement for Kamala Harris’ presidential campaign from “Delaware’s most famous person.”

Wilmington native and actress Aubrey Plaza posted a photo of herself on Instagram Wednesday morning with the caption “HARRIS 🇺🇸 WALZ” and tagged Harris’ campaign page.

Plaza used a photo of herself from 2014 with the late Grumpy Cat in her lap.

Grumpy Cat (real name Tardar Sauce) was an internet celebrity cat from the 2010s known for her permanently frowny face. It was a nod to Swift’s instantly viral endorsement from Tuesday night, which featured a pic from her Time magazine photo shoot of her with her cat, Benjamin Button. Plaza voiced the part of Grumpy Cat in a Christmas special the pair filmed together in 2014.

It’s the latest in a monthslong pattern of Harris supporters who are cat owners embracing what was meant to be a slight from former President Donald Trump’s running mate, JD Vance, calling Harris a “childless cat lady.”

Plaza is hailed as a hometown hero in Delaware, often praising her time with the Wilmington Drama League and Delaware Theatre Company as formative. She attended Ursuline Academy, an all-girls Catholic school, and later went to improv school in Philadelphia.

She’s also the namesake of “The Aubrey Plaza Plaza,” an unofficial name for the pedestal that held a now-removed Christopher Columbus statue. The site has its own Google Maps page.

In 2018, Plaza was named the biggest star from the second-smallest state, according to 750 Delaware News Journal readers. She outranked President Joe Biden, and the rivalry of sorts has become a running joke between the pair. Biden made a guest appearance on Saturday Night Live last year when Plaza hosted the show.

why though

This is definitely part of it, most people don't spend their time scheming, trying to put others down, trying to make life worse for others.

I am a target of neighborhood Mobbing and it really took me a while, until i considered this a reality. I just couldn't wrap my head around this, that other people were making an effort to get on my nerves or were watching me and passively aggressively attacking me.

There really are people that want to interfere in the lives of other people minding their own business.

Meet the Republican mindset amongst ordinary people

Tourists traveled to Australia for its famous hot springs. There was just one problem – they didn’t exist

Hundreds of tourists are flocking to hot springs in a small town in Tasmania, Australia. However, there was one small wrinkle in their trip planning. The hot springs are actually an AI “hallucination” that erroneously appeared on a travel advice website and was widely shared before people figured out what was happening.
