They keep polishing it and piling on more stuff, but the base game is still rather disjointed and in my opinion, easy to burn out on. I don’t understand these companies’ obsession with humanoid robots. A robot doesn’t have to humanoid to be a useful household helper. It doesn’t even have to be humanoid for people to form a friendly bond with it (something I think would be a good quality in a “household helper”) just look at Star Wars droids

Lemmy is a place I prefer to be as anonymous as I can while still participating so I don’t set one for myself and I use voyager the vast majority of the time so I don’t see anyone else’s. I personally don’t find profile pictures/avatars add anything to the experience for me.

They can practice until they can do the art - drawing is a skill like any other that can be improved. Even without practice some scribbles would probably work for this - a joke like this wouldn’t even take much to get across. Or they could commission or request someone else to do it. “Can’t do the art” is an imaginary barrier

There is no “trans movement”, you’re probably just noticing trans people for the first time. As the current president and many states make it harder, or downright dangerous for them to live their lives, you’re probably going to see trans folks either speaking out or those who used to be more open keeping their heads down out of fear for their safety
