I honestly don't think I found a website that doesn't work in Firefox for years. But I agree that it can be really annoying, I hope more people adopt Firefox (or it's engine at least).

As for your iPhone issue: Well Apple doesn't really allow any other browsers on iOS, AFAIK it's all just Safari under the hood with a skin on top.

To add on to this: If your company is not tiny, then having properly managed accounts is literally a legal requirement in most countries and having people make random, not accounted for purchases raises questions.

It's crazy how different people experience things. I find it annoying and less pleasant to watch YouTube at 1080p since they downgraded the bitrate and locked it behind premium. I actually almost always watch at 4k or 1440p60 even on a phone screen just because of the bitrate.

I was driving a rental car with that feature once and it recognized one of those big arrows on the ground (that show a lane is ending e.g.) as side lanes. It was on a fast street with multiple lanes, so I was going over 100 km/h and the car jerked the steering wheel towards the goddamn wall and out of the lane. Not viable for competitive games or (for me personally) any games at all. Too much input lag and often too blurry graphics.

Heavily depends on where you live in Germany. It should be healthy (by law) and fairly tasty to drink everywhere in theorie, but in reality it is not. Especially depending on the landlord, old pipes can make drinking water range from tasting bad to being unhealthy. Yes, that is against the law, but landlords abusing the shit out of their position of power happens everywhere and a lot more than many probably realize.

Wow, this is quite an interesting read, because you can write almost the same thing - word for word - about Germany. It's the same overall in Germany with a few differences like time (it has been going on for a lot longer here) and some of the left are a bit different.

I had to make the same decision in the past (2-3y ago) and I ended up with 2 possible solutions:

• Obsidian with Excalidraw
• Xournal++

I ended up going with Xournal. You can do the organization by yourself with a simple folder structure (yes, that is worse than what OneNote offers, but I could make it work for me). Not sure what bulk exporting you're doing, but it can fully export a file to PDF, which is a feature I use often and works well.

Obsidian is a very nice program and excalidraw works well, but uses more resources and is not exactly a dedicated pen note taking app, but the organization side of things works well and is very powerful.

I know a lot changed and the first setup and getting used to Xournal++ is quite annoying (at least in my experience), it is very powerful and I can recommend it.

Maybe there is a new program out there, but these are my 2 cents, maybe it helps.

While the cops in Germany are a lot better trained and won't kill you or harm you, many are still on power trips and try to screw you over. Some abuse their authority especially towards teens and they try to fine you if you're an adult. Society needs that job, but man I rarely hear about good encounters with police. I feel like older people had a better experience with cops and younger people in Germany like the police a lot less, but I could be wrong.
