Cyberpunk 2077 Edgerunners update brings improved modding, better HDR, new content and more
Now I'm almost sad I can't play the game again as I almost got to 100% and played all possible side quests.
It gets boring fast on a 2nd playthrough,if you already finished everything.

I tried CachyOS, but here's why Bazzite is still my go-to Linux gaming distro
Reply in thread
I wish I could double upvote this. I've been using vanilla arch for years and found that Cathy's edge is more in the eye of the beholder. I've yet to find a measurable difference and on my hw there is almost 0 improvement with using cachy over vanilla arch.
Bazzite is a bloated mess. They put everything in a 7GB iso, lots of things consisting of 1 line of packages to install.
The immutable part has never held any water for me,as I guess if people are afraid of their OSes, maybe that OS is just not for them. No shame in using Windows or MacOS.
Doesn't help that the one time I tried to install bazzite and used LACT,causing a crash, resulted in my Bazzite install somehow removing all installed programs - I might have just been unlucky with a specific version, but that was the first impression I got from it and it was a nasty one.
Edit: words
Edit2: I'm not gatekeeping anything. I just think that people should make up their own minds and stop spreading useless information.

Ecosia switches from Mistral to open-weight AI models including Qwen, GLM and Kimi
This is sad news, but I've used Mistral until fairly recently, until they changed the way tokens are being counted or some change around providing "more transparency", resulting in barely getting any usage out of my 18€ pro subscription.
Yeah, I tried to support more of EU economy, but I was throwing my money out the windows, compared to their competitors and their models and offers.
I wish they could see they are not competitive at all.
Edit: I don't think going full Chinese LLM is the answer.

Uproar as EU Parliament declines to hold minute of silence for Charlie Kirk
Why would we care in Europe about a fascist US citizen dying on his own soil? He’s just some random dude for us. More concerning are the murders of school children and the Epstein files.

Even PewDiePie thinks you should install Linux on your computer after saying he was "tortured by Windows"
I’ve never watched any of his videos. They just don’t appeal to me and never have. However, given his apparent fame, it’s good for linux.
The more people acknowledge linux’s existence, the more engagement, the more growth.
Here’s hoping someday Windows will be a nasty memory.

Perplexity CEO says its browser will track everything users do online to sell 'hyper personalized' ads | TechCrunch
I think I read somewhere they want to buy Chrome from Google if they are forced to sell. So not many changes, just switching owners who ultimately do the same thing.
i’m not a Chrome user, so screw both google and perplexity.
