Linux Mint has been my go-to distro for probably ten years. Just recently helped a friend transition from Windows 10 to Linux Mint and so far she's been pretty happy with it. Thanks again Microsoft for your stupid hardware requirements for Windows 11. Makes it so much easier to get people to switch to Linux.

Nice alternative to Figma. Gave it a try a couple of months ago but the snapping was super unreliable and exporting to PDF screwed up the quality of any pictures to an unusable point. Might have to give it another try and see if some of my problems have been fixed.

Käse ist und bleibt das letzte Tierprodukt, dass ich leider noch immer kaufe. So viele vegane Alternativen ausprobiert aber die taugen mir leider alle nichts. Kann ich so nur bestätigen. War diesen Monat am Hamburger Hauptbahnhof. Draussen Regen und arschkalter Wind, der einem das Fleisch von den Knochen schneidet. Innen Windtunnel ohne Ende. Pro Gleis ein paar Sitzplätze verteilt, aber wenn man sich da hinsetzt friert man sich trotzdem was ab durch o.g. Windtunnel.

Einzige warme Sitzmöglichkeit DB Lounge, McDonalds oder irgendein anderes Restaurant. Im direkten Vergleich hier in Schweden hat jedes noch so kleine Kackkaff mit Bahnhof einen beheizten Warteraum. Selbst mein "Städchen" am Arsch der Waldfee mit knapp 3000 Einwohner hat sowas.

Yeah it's pretty awesome. My only gripe with it is the fact that it is super annoying when you want to send a client with your self-hosted urls to a customer.

You can either awkardly add it to the filename or you need to fork the client and build it yourself. Kind of sucks that the easier custom client function is stuck behind their subscription.

You need to point your sub-domain in the Caddyfile to your designated local port. So just add an entry like this to your Caddyfile

Replace XXX with your public IP and PORT with the local port in your docker container / compose.

What an unexpected and strange release. Though To the Moon is still an incredible experience. It's what any RPG Maker tinkerer dreams of releasing one of these days. I should really replay the game. Haven't played it since its original release in 2011.

I see your point. But to me, self-hosting just means being responsible for the server and services and not necessarily having my own hardware server at home. And just calling it hosting is too broad a definition for me. And at the end of the day, the guide works just as well for your own hardware or a VM, as it does for a VPS.

Yup kann ich bestätigen. Wohne jetzt seit mittlerweile fast 2 Jahren in Schweden und habe keine Ahnung wie das Bargeld hier aussieht. Habe tatsächlich noch nicht eine einzige Schwedische Krone als Münze oder Schein in der Hand gehabt. Supermärkte sind so ziemlich der einzige Ort an dem ich ab und zu (meist ältere) Leute sehe die noch mit Bargeld bezahlen.

As a huge fan of the first Dragon's Dogma I am very much disappointed with the game as it was released today. Honestly after playing for about 2-3 hours today on PS5, I have to say the game is very much not ready for release.

• Terrible performance with an unlocked frame-rate that's between 20 - 35 FPS (give me a smooth 30 FPS and never use a fucking unlocked frame-rate on console. WHO DOES THAT? If you can't get a smooth 60 don't make me play an uneven mess such as this) First patch gives an option for fixed 30 FPS, disable RT and seems to have made the main city a little better
• Controlling the character feels like moving through molasses
• Annoying motion blur that cannot be disabled Fixed in the first patch
• bad dialog animations and lip sync
• micro-transactions in a full price game

It's clear that the game was rushed and needed at least a couple more months in development. I am sure they will fix the most egregious problems but as it stands right now I would not buy the game. Shame fucking Sony won't let you refund a game if you downloaded it, which is the dumbest shit I've ever heard.

I think you are conflating desktop Ubuntu with Ubuntu Server. On a server, you absolutly want a stable, long supported LTS version.

I've been hosting on Ubuntu Server for over 10 years now, and at no point were any packages required to keep it up to date and running outdated.

Back in the olden days I played Phantasy Star Online on the Dreamcast at a buddys home. I didn't have a username for online play and I think he had gotten his from a Majoras Mask guide, so I flipped through it and randomly chose Gibdos. It's been my one and only username for over 20 years now.
