The White House thought the shutdown would be quick. Now they’re frustrated.

There has been a concerted effort on the right to isolate a dumb down voters for years. There was a solid documentary a number of years back I think it was called outfoxed where they explained how after Nixon was defeated a group of right wingers swore they would create a system where that would never happen again. Surprisingly, they succeeded. Trump is the result of that. When he said he could walk out in a Times Square shoot someone and no one would care he was correct. They have insulated isolated and dumb down their voting base so much that he could do or say whatever he wants and get away with it because they think he’s winning and therefore They are winning. A comedian said it best recently: MAGA supporters are like the guy at the local strip club who thinks that the stripper is in love with them when in reality the stripper doesn’t give a fuck about you and just wants your money. That’s what this entire administration is. They’re going to rob this country blind completely destroy it and then walk away with billions of dollars while the rest of us have to suffer through this shit storm they created. But no one will care because Black people brown people poor people us anybody else than me is suffering just a little bit more than me and that’s good enough for them because they’ve been told to think like that and they’re okay accepting that.

If your job has Office365 access, use the web version of Outlook. You can open multiple accounts in separate tabs and the interface isn't from 1995. I have multiple boxes I have to run and this saved me from having to constantly log in and log out of Outlook.

Those who've switched to Linux in the last year, how is it going?

Made the jump to Linux about a month ago. Too much bloat on Win11. With the forthcoming AI bullshit I decided to take the leap and see how much I liked it. I installed mint on an old laptop. I had to test it out and was surprised at how easy it was decided to dual boot my main gaming PC because there are still some games that require anti-cheat that I can’t play on Linux. But Once they figure out how to do that, I’ll be a complete convert. It’s amazing how much faster and smoother. My PC is running fedora.

Gen Z Won’t Save Us

Just remember that according to the cannon timeline, the United States was rounding up people and putting them in “sanctuary districts” and in 2027 it’s the start of World War 3. Who knows, we may be right on track for that brighter future!

Trump and RFK Jr. to Ban Covid-19 Vaccine ‘Within Months’

Reply in thread

I don’t mean to increase your anxiety but another one IS inevitable. Pandemics come and go, our massively interconnected world is the perfect breeding ground for them. You can see and hear real experts talking about it a few years ago to Congress. They said another massive one is likely within the next decade. A quick googling will give you articles from every major medical school. This will leave us radically unprepared, not that they care.

Trump promotes attorney and part-time salon owner to oversee visas for people coming to the US

So you’re arguing that she’s generally competent. But you’re also hedging that she might not be competent in this job. So, your issue is with the article characterizing her as a salon owner to score cheap political points? Are you living in 2025 with the rest of us?

Feasibly it’s different from the president because he should’ve divested himself from all other activities as per the law and why the president normally has a massive staff to keep him informed since they can’t be all places at once.

As for Elon and DOGE, we’ve all seen how that level of “Competence” went.

So, I can’t tell if this is a troll post or someone just being inherently pedantic.

Being a competent farmer doesn’t make you a competent astronaut.
