You've spoken to a doctor and they gave you something to take for it. Follow the doctor's directions. If nothing improves, reach out to the doc again and they will offer further options to try. The Internet is a terrible place for medical advice.

Is it though? I definitely had teachers in middle/high school with oddball requirements like "only physical books more than 10 years old are valid sources". Total nonsense but it does happen. College is a place where you are meant to have these bad assumptions challenged and corrected. Presumably after a response they'll be better for it.

I don't think I'd use them for anything other than their intended purpose if you don't know exactly what's in them. For the leaky ones, you could probably collect the gel into some other sealed container like an old jar (not totally filled). Then it would still work well as a cold source for coolers/lunch packs.

As problematic as AI is, these students are going to live in a world where it exists. I would much rather live around people who were taught how to use it well and as a tool to aid thinking and understanding rather than a total replacement to thinking. I'm sure it will take years of refining how we teach high schoolers to live around it to get good results, but we have to start somewhere.

It depends. If everything is stored unencrypted on the drive it's pretty easy to reset passwords or boot to a USB and access everything. If it's locked down hard you could be SOL. The worst I've seen happen is the loss of family photos with people who had passed away so they were irreplaceable.

Probably not. It might be a pain in the ass but realistically you'll be able to work with banks/utilities/work to get access back. As long as you have access to your email as well you can likely recover your accounts. Files are likely the biggest risk, remember to keep regular backups and even this can be recovered.

I agree that the early game walking is interesting because it gives you such a great sense of the actual layout the world. It makes it feel actually connected and whole while most MMOs feel like a bunch of disconnected maps.

Don't worry though. Once your magic gets up a bit you'll be able to teleport around and save a ton of time. Teleport spells are the best early travel tech unlocks.

I've got a similar but weird version of this. To me West is left and East is right because that's how we usually see it on maps. But because it's so linked in my head it means that if I am facing South I will swap East and West because I still think of them as left and right.

What are you planning to do there? ToC is very much in the middle of nowhere population wise. And don't forget to factor in car rental costs, you'd need a car there to do anything

Definitely fortunately. There's no wrong way to play that game, wandering around trying random things is my favorite way to do the early game too.

Yeah I felt the same. After a dozen hours or so I had a moment of realization that all I'm doing is the same 3 mechanics over and over with maybe one interesting or new thing happening every 4 hours. I wasn't invested in the world, and I realized I didn't even care how it ended. I stopped playing at that point.
