Judge questions why Pete Hegseth can give testosterone to cis men but not trans men

Reply in thread

Hegseth doesn't know shit about how to run a unit. That's why he implements all these stupid policies. The loser never even held a company command. He topped out at platoon leader which doesn't amount to jack shit.

It's like being a team lead at Walmart, then getting promoted to CEO and demanding that all all your lower level execs learn how to use a cash register because you think more cash registers = more money.

They have already decided to promote an existing employee. But play the "search" game and screw you

Yep. At one point my company tried to hire an architect from outside to lead our engineering team. Our software is very complicated, even ignoring the codebase and only looking at the business use cases. It takes years before people become somewhat familiar with it.

That guy noped out after three months and literally gave the product's complexity as the main reason. Complete waste of money.

They eventually promoted one of our senior devs instead and he absolutely killed it. Modernized much of the codebase and dev processes because we were still acting like a startup at the time. It's insane they just didn't go with him from the beginning. He saved the company many millions of dollars that will never show up on a bean counter's spreadsheet.

Canada-U.S. Trade War: 41% of Canadians Now See the United States as an Enemy

Reply in thread

Canada is only somewhat smarter than us. If it weren't for extenuating circumstances they were ready to elect their own cadre of manlet fascists until about 2 months before the election. Another display of dump's malicious stupidity.

So I'm not surprised it's only 41% even though our head of state literally threatened their sovereignty and started open economic warfare with them and our Congress just lets him do it. Canada has a lot of stupid people, just not as many as we do.

Why does China have so many multi billionaires if they are aiming to be a communist country?

Reply in thread

No they aren't. Try actually reading about how their economy works. The whole thing is a scam to keep their form of state capitalism.

The people who wanted to make China communist, as in people having collective ownership over the economy, were thrown out of power by the Dengists who ostensibly believed that they needed to use capitalism to build towards socialism. Except they've never done anything to actually implement socialism. In China everyone is still a wage cuck just like everywhere else.

Judge grants accused CEO killer Mangione's bid to suppress evidence due to unlawful search

Reply in thread

This sort of shit is why people continue to lose faith in the courts. The legal world chodes can blame politics all they want, but it all comes back to courts screwing over normal people to back up corrupt cops and prosecutors.

The courts err on the side of giving themselves and the government more power at the expense of our rights. They've earned our distrust.

They've completely eviscerated the spirit of the 4th amendment.

29% is insanely low considering how much propaganda they spew and how much media they control.

I try to be "optimistic" because Trump is only going to make things worse, so even lower numbers are possible.

Even Truman was barely lower than this, though his were low because dipshit Americans fellated MacArthur who was a Trump-like figure in many ways. Fake bravado (he abandoned his troops in the Philippines when things got tough), shit talker who spewed bloodthirsty talking points (he wanted to drop 50 nukes on China during the Korean War), but wore cool shades and smoked a pipe, etc

Maga simply represents the shallow, indulgent narcissism at the root of American identity, especially in the shithole South. We've been like this for a long fucking time.

Star Citizen has a disastrously laggy stream with horrendous vibes, which isn't a great look when you're past $1 billion in funding

Reply in thread

I wouldn't call it a scam either. Just another shitty game farming whales. They actually refunded me so there's that. I wasted an hour of my life on that thing.

It's a shame because you can see the potential, there's nothing else quite like it. You can wake up in your apartment, walk around the city/base you're in, take a train to the spaceport, find your hangar, get in your ship, start your ship, take off and go somewhere. It has potential to be incredibly immersive but it's beyond clear the devs don't care about making it into a good game.

The controls are totally bizarre, unintuitive, and poorly designed. Everything you do is bugged in some way. The performance is ass. Terrible and confusing HUD design. The game is a complete chore to play. Got my refund and I'll never even consider going back.

ABC's report on trump's corruption has been censored

The FCC started an "early review" of ABC's public broadcasting licenses a while back. ABC sued the government over it because it's clearly retaliation for not sucking off the president.

it wouldn't surprise me if this deleted article was related to that court case. Either ABC self-censoring or the FCC threatening them directly. Either way the maga trash are heavily abusing the FCC to intimidate critics. Free speech my fucking ass.
