Bought a new Pixel 7 Pro and wanted to use Firefox but scrolling was just so bad, lots of stuttering. Using Brave now and am very happy with it. You have to turn off some sneaky shit initially though.

Alacritty, Konsole, or something else? Which terminal emulator do you recommend?

Wayland or X11? Why?

Wayland is not a display server, it's just a protocol. The compositor acts as both window manager and handles the graphics card interface.

They use telemetry, trying to push Brave Rewards, Brave Wallet crypto stuff, Brave News. I find that a bit sneaky of a privacy focused browser.

What CLI apps you use to do common tasks like editing (pdf, audio, video, image) files.
Using lf, a file manager like ranger. Written in Go.
