How to say the number 92

Reply in thread

And to confuse even further, the cardinal number (ninety-two) is "to-og-halv-fems" in Danish without the *20. But if you need the ordinal number (92nd), then we add in the x20 as in "to-og-halv-fem-sinds-tyvende". Danish is very easy and transparent 😊

Any launcher out there that has offline OCR support in recents menu, like the Pixel Launcher?

Just to clarify, on pixel phones, when you go to the recents menu, you are able to select text from all the app previews. If you have a photo with text open in an app and go to the recents menu, you can select and copy the text from that preview. Same goes if you use an app that doesn't allow selecting and copying text. If you go to the recents menu, you will be able to select that text ;-)

What's your favourite keyboard app? ⌨️

I wholeheartedly agree with the swiping punctuation. That and swiping on the space bar to switch keyboard configuration is the main reason for sticking to SwiftKey. Writing in several languages where you need special characters in each language, having to hold down a button in order to switch the keyboard is frustratingly slow.

One extra point is also that SwiftKey inserts the most likely prediction when clicking space. Whenever I've used gboard, it's so frustrating, that my fingers have to click the prediction in order to insert it.

Community Discussion: Apps Worth Every Penny!

I used Tasker a lot more back when android wasn't as mature as it is now. Nowadays I use it sparringly, but it's an invaluable tool to have access to. When you run into something you cannot do directly through Android, odds are Tasker can fix it for you.

This is one of my simple tasks. We have a shared laundry room. You can only register one person per apparment and therefore only one phone number. When the machines are done washing, only I receive a text message. With Tasker, I forward this message automatically to my SO, so that we're both notified.

On the more superfluous side: I have an old Stadia controller - Rip Stadia :'(. Now when I connect the controller to my phone, it automatically launches XBOX game pass, which is nice, but by no means essential.

Once I made a complicated Tasker task that ran on a secondary phone. By saying certain prompts through Google Home using autovoice, I could switch the country on my VPN on my router. All voice prompts, connections to the router and commands were setup and handled within Tasker.

So in short. If you identify repetitive tasks that you're always doing manually, then odds are you can spend some time in Tasker to create automations for them. Then again, sometimes you get to spend way longer time tinkering than you'd ever do doing the manual task :-D

Connection refused after latest update

Thanks for the assistance. I ended up restoring a backup onto a new SD-card and everything started working again. I think the SD-card died on me while I was away.

However, my system continued to stall once in a while, so I decided to get the Home Assistant Green in order to update my setup and go with something more official. It's just too troublesome having constant issues when everything relies on this one box!
