Whoo, does this put me in a good mood.

My dad did his best considering he lost his dad at 14, so I don't blame him too much. But if there was something I knew I'd do one day as a dad (currently have a 4-year-old daughter) it'd be spending free time with her.

My generation isn't the best, but I knew this was a statistic we'd slam dunk.

In the grand scheme of history, this is nothing. But it's hard not to feel like I'm living through a huge moment.

The news, connections, answers, laughter, sadness, shock, joy--all of it--that this app delivered to me will be fondly cherished.

I'm 86, but I feel you. Before he passed, my dad played with his granddaughter in a similar fashion. My theory was, he saw how involved I (and my peers) was and realized it wasn't too late.

I am certain it wasn't easy, but nothing worth it ever is. Congratulations, and here's to being you.

Hoping, much like yourself, that the stigma and pain behind coming out vanishes sooner rather than later.

It was definitely a portion of the move; more like "straw that broke the camel's back."

Deleting that godforsaken Facebook account was such a good decision.

It won't even allow me to select a photo to upload as the menu disappears when my mouse moves to click the "Upload" button

I picked a weird time to buy a Mac mini, MBA, iPad Air, and subscribe to Apple One.

Outside of looking up some very niche stuff (r/NoContract, etc) on desktop, haven't touched it. Granted, haven't been on bin.social much either.

Without a doubt, it's got to be surreal for him. I can't even imagine.
