My CEO all up in the codebase but we are a team of 5. I do not envy his many hats.

I work in a research lab in tech, they have come a long way from auto complete. The code is generally pretty good if you know what you are doing or you are certain of the specific problem to solve, it still struggles with systems thinking and data but has improved greatly with 5.5 & fable.

Every service for chainlink is paid for using their native LINK token.
It is the utility token that underpins the services offered.

The work that chainlink labs has done and has implemented for tokenizing securities, enabling high fidelity data providers and automating audits of financial markets.
Immutable smart contracts are useful but if needed to interact with the outside world only as secure as the weakest input, chainlink labs have done a lot to solve the oracle portion of the blockchain trilema.
This will enable self executing contractual agreements that are mostly B2B & have wide sweeping implications for finance.
This is not a fluff project it is very serious and has real scientists pushing inovation.
Here are some use cases

They are self supervised decoders, no delusion about that. My commentary is about utility exceeding that of auto correct.

I am frustrated with the pejorative sentiment regarding cryptocurrencies. There really is an incredible amount of innovation in the space and its not all financial fuckery, there is real utility in many solutions that will completely change capital markets.
There is also a-lot of fuckery & it can be tough to differentiate what is meaningful vs useless. There are millions useless tokens, thousands of vapor ware project and probaly a few hundred legitimate companies and tokens fostering innovation of some sort.
