Updates to LinkedIn's Terms of Service

In regions where LinkedIn or its affiliates use member data to train generative AI models for content creation, you can choose to opt-out of having your personal data and content you create on LinkedIn used for training (including fine-tuning). To opt out, use the Data for Generative AI Improvement member setting. Opting out means that LinkedIn and its affiliates won’t use your personal data or content on LinkedIn to train models going forward, but does not affect training that has already taken place.

What's appealing about people who are seen as extrovert but describe themselves as introvert?

I'm this person and I often get misunderstood. I can be the center of a room and I'm loud not quiet. People attribute this with being an extrovert. I am absolutely not, I am an introvert. It's draining for me to be front and center but I don't mind doing it. I recharge by being alone. I have to explain this to folks often.

In my mind, it's a best of both worlds being able to do both. But the introvert/extrovert is about how you gain energy, not whether you are shy or center of attention.

Anyone in the Cleveland area know this nazi?

Reply in thread

No. There is such a thing as "national socialist black metal", but trying to correlate a baphomet tattoo with NSBM is a stretch. He very well could be a Nazi, but I wouldn't associate that with satanism solely from some images. There are assholes in every religion, we don't need another satanic panic out of ignorance and fear.

Americans favor deporting undocumented immigrants, until they're asked how

Reply in thread

The short answer is no, undocumented immigrants can't join the US military.

Quoting from the US Army recruiter FAQ:

Can non-U.S. citizens join the Army?

Enlistment into any branch of the U.S. military, by citizens of countries other than the United States is limited to those foreign nationals who are legally residing in the United States and possess a Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services Alien Registration Card (INS Form I-151/551 - commonly known as a "Green Card"). Applicants must be between 17 and 35; meet the mental, moral, and physical standards for enlistment; and must speak, read and write English fluently.
