Lost Lemmys! The equivalent of r/LostRedditors
Might not be a bad way to discover new communities as well.

I know it doesn’t really matter but still…..
I had that with masto. Not so much with Lemmy. I just sub to all "clone" communities, especially meme ones.

My lemmy experience so far
Are we using the same service? I've been scrolling my feed all day.

despacito rule
I have a deep seated hatred for The Killers - Human. It was on heavy radio rotation while I worked at a gas station, a job which I despised, so I suppose, I psyop'd myself into associating that song with that time of my life.

I'll stay. While lemmy, at least for now, is a bit harder to use than reddit, and also lacks content, I see both of those as temporary issues. This feels nice and fresh, and i'm excited to see how it evolves. That applies to the entire Fediverse.

Sorry, I suppose, I used confusing terminology.
I mean, for instance, there are multiple, idk, Technology oriented communities. I just subscribe to all of them, or at least the ones with a significant amount of users. In time, a "main" one will probably emerge among them.

was SHODAN just misunderstood?

Reddit starts to force open subreddits
Yeah, of course, nothing stops them to change a 0 to 1 in their production database, they don't have to respect the actions of the moderators, unfortunately.

Whats the chance of you guys returning to r/196 if the sub comes back?
Lemmy is love. Of course I'm staying.

Hey! Thanks for hosting this neat instance!
Do let know if you need help with the hosting costs! Don't want to go through hunting down and subscribing to the communities again, lol

Beehaw.org is defederating effective immediately from lemmy.world and sh.itjust.works
I know this is not strictly relevant to lemmy.studio, but I just thought that this sets an interesting precedent and is probably quite a blow for lemmy as a reddit replacement.

What undertakings are you currently doing to improve your playing?
Trying to record myself more. This forces me into deliberate practice instead of noodling and allows me to analyze my weak points.

QOTD: How do you pronounce Godot?
G'day

How are you sorting Lemmy posts to see fresh content?
I keep it on Active, but I have “Show read posts” unticked, so posts i voted on don’t show up again

Yea, CPU will probably hold just fine. I'm more worried about the memes I'll pull in that you'll have to cache, haha.

Some people pronounce SQL as "sequel", and some as "squeal"
I mean, people call JSON jason, so i suppose sequel for SQL is alright (although, i still use Es-cue-elle). Sizzle absolutely needs to become a thing.
