r/iPhone will be going private indefinitely (3.82 mil subscribers) - joining r/videos and many other subreddits
This is great! But the problem is they're probably just going to replace the admins/mods w/e they're called that control the subreddit and just open it up again...

New Tutanota Plans: More email alias addresses, more features, more storage!
Nice! I haven't tried out tutanota because it certainly was a pain when I was the email on all of the accounts to protonmail.... I think I will be fine with proton though

What browser / extensions do you make use of?
I'm kind of using 2 browser currently Brave/Librewolf. Been thinking of trying out Brave for a while now so here we are. On brave I just have Bitwarden, LocalCDN & SponsorBlock. On Librewolf I have Bitwarden, uBlock Origin, SponsorBlock, User-Agent Switcher, CanvasBlocker & Reddit Enhancement Suite.

For everyone new to Lemmy, how are you finding the experience?
It's been very nice both on mobile (Jerboa) & on PC. One thing that has been bothering me as a person that cares about my privacy is what some people are saying on the privacy subreddit on reddit about lemmy.

That's a feature
That's coding in a nutshell... You fix the issue, get 2 more xD

What distros would you recommend for use on a (non-gaming) Laptop?
Probably Nobara but to be honest at this point you can just use whatever you prefer.

Which is probably good, but unfortunately reddit will just replace the mods there and they'll just open it and back to how we were. Maybe of course that fortunate for the people that want to go back to Reddit
