How brainwashed do you have to be to say something like this? Actually, if you think that people here are "small dicked incels", why are you even using lemmy? I honestly wouldn't be surprised if you were some reddit employee posting this stuff on lemmy so people come back or something. Unless you work for reddit, this is the worst case of Stockholm syndrome I've ever seen.

Agreed. Reddit is a burning trainwreck you can't look away from at this point. I'm not gonna be in the trainwreck, but rather I'll just watch it from here (aka lemmy)

Can confirm Reddit is undeleting posts. Some (not all) of my posts and comments are back, despite me using shreddit to delete them. Gonna edit them with PDS.

Have done the exact same, except I deleted all comments and posts (with shreddit.com if you want to do the same) and left only one post: a statement about the whole reddit API fiasco (and how it is unacceptable) and my lemmy username and instance. (Sorry for my terrible English, I'm not a native speaker)

BIG same. I was frustrated with a "use our official app plsz" taking up half my screen on the mobile browser, along with other... shenanigans, let's call them. Killing 3rd-party apps (which are the only way I use Reddit on my phone) was something I wouldn't handle. Deleted all my comments and posts after the site went back up and left only an announcement of my departure along with my lemmy handle.

Same. Used shreddit.com and nuked my comments AND posts. I won't leave any content for that idiot known as u/spez. Only way for Reddit to be a good platform is to scale down and fire him faster than a Concorde travels a metre.

True, true. What I care about is the fact that rather than picking a good solution, u/spez goes and straight up kills third party apps.

2. But that doesn't mean reddit isn't doing it. I deleted all of my posts, but they were all undelete. And I'm European, so valid grounds for a lawsuit I guess.
