As You Wish

I lived with a buddy of mine who owned one of the first generation Keurig machines. We had problems with roaches cropping up here and there and we tried everything to get rid of them from diatomaceous earth to calling an exterminator but they always came back and we had no idea where they were coming from. We had assumed at some point that it was probably from an adjacent town home so we just dealt with them as they came and I didn't think much of them after that. Fast forward a year or so and I've moved out of the place. I get talking with my buddy about the old roach problem and he tells me that he found out where they were nesting when his Keurig machine stopped working and he attempted to open it up and they came pouring out of the machine. My buddy grabbed some roach spray we had stocked up on and drenched the machine in it to kill as many of the damn things as he could. He ended up throwing that machine away. I'm glad I switched to French press and moka pots forever ago.

there is Indeed a problem

My hubby went in for an interview and was told he got the job so he told his other prospective employers that he was no longer interested. Before he could arrange a start date, they ghosted him. He tried to call but it went to an outsourced helpdesk that told him they would create a ticket and he would get a call back. No call after several days. He physically went into the place and the hiring manager seemed flustered that he was there and told him they would contact him. After two weeks from when he was told he would get the job, he finally got a hold of the guy he interviewed with and was told they gave the position to someone else because he was "unreachable".

Problems like this are the reason why I don't hold loyalty to any company unless they've proven their competency. The ones that are good rarely hire because the employees don't want to leave.

Hey Google, go fuck yourself entirely

I've paid for YouTube premium pretty much since it started being a thing and had to drop it recently for financial reasons. Simply existing these days feels like I'm drowning. The bombardment of ads and frequent notifications to come back are making me want to ditch YouTube entirely. I've been using YouTube in Firefox with desktop site requested to play my videos in the background and I try to use odysee as much as possible now. Their price hikes along with no recognition of how long I've been a paying member has really gotten to me.

Google Play can go straight to hell.

I used to work for a major TV/Internet provider that offered video on demand movies and TV shows. I had several instances where a family would move to a new location but the account wouldn't transfer and instead it was set up as a new account. Hundreds of dollars spent on VoD titles would be lost and I couldn't do anything for them because the company I worked for didn't provide a way to restore those titles. If I purchase a digital copy of a movie, show, book, etc. I don't feel a single shred of guilt pirating it to keep a downloaded version for myself and neither should anyone else.

Call me 4chan

Had a random guy that I spoke to at a bar ask me if I could hack a university to forge a degree for him when I told him I work in IT. Even if I could do something like that, it seems like a really risky and unethical thing to do for some rando at a bar.
