its not individuals, its systemic.

unless we change the game, there will be no "good" result, no matter if red guy, blue guy, green guy or whatever.

(Capitalist) Nations in competition are the fundamental issue for ever-returning crisis based on fundamental (scientifically analyzed) contradictions... .....Capital and Labor (one side wants profit, the other wants fair wages), .... Usage and Exchange value (things are meant to be useful, but are sold primarily as commodities), ...Production and Consumption (too much is produced, but many - and an increasing number - cannot afford the goods). ..Competition and monopolies (everyone fights for market share until a few dominate everything) .technological progress and job losses (machines replace people, even though the economy is growing)....

I think this is the first war we aren't hiding by bad guy vs good guy scenario. So lets say the US and allies get control of the oil..how do that solve dependence on it?

Imo the two party system basically always devolves into two pro-authoritarian parties, sponsored by capital owners.

like I'd say the "democrats" are just a GOP-light version in terms of representing and realizing progressive topics. Even in parliament systems I feel like this is an issue, greens become more and more conservative in some countries, and esp a certain middle-left party, I have in mind, is basically just doing what the conservatives want with no own agenda anymore.. so in 2 party systems this overton-window shift seems even easier to establish idk

Reddit banned Paul McCartney over phone-free concert photos post in their subreddit

I still havent gotten a response from the site owners why I got completely removed (ip-ban)

Last thing was me arguing with a mod about the reason I got sub banned: me simply commenting "source:[tabloid's name]" under a news post that was baiting incitement. they claimed I was derailing when the whole post was literally just the blog post of that bad faith tabloid in a rather "serious" sub /de XD

its a joke of a platform that carefully fosters a gullible army of bootlickers it seems, at least to me being left on read like that

Also: After seeing you cross posting this on peer tube, I didnt realize this was a fork/or whatever the term is

I tried to look into peer tube once but struggled accessing content and also content that would fit my likings, thanks to you I understand a bit more how this could be used to grow the platform (via specific blog posters like you sharing their cool vids through ie lemmy or similar platforms)

coolcool :>
