Netherlands - we have some of the cleanest tap water here. You can drink water from any tap. Ironically bottled water from the shops is a big seller here and you see people with liters of the stuff in shopping trolleys and I’ve never been able to figure out why anyone would spend money on something that we have an abundance of in our houses

What I say to my students always is if you don’t know where to start, just start doing something. Go to YouTube and type “godot for beginners”. Watch a couple of the videos and just see what is happening. You’ll get a feel for the program and what might be involved in making a game. That should be enough to either get inspiration to start or put you off actually opening up Godot.

My wife used to do glass painting. You got tubes of glass relief which you draw into the glass. It hardens into grey / black lines and looks like stained glass lead. You then paint inside the relief with the glass paint. It’s quite beautiful once it’s done and finished

Apart from this piece of garbage, who by the way took the time to think about and execute this awful directive, I’m genuinely sad at anyone in the general public who will read this story and think that it was the right thing to do

We had a mirror painted which caught the sun for years (through a front door) and some glasses on a window edge. Both seemed to be fine.

This is ridiculously cool! I love flying kites and used to build tiny indoor kites that you could fly next to a vent or fan. But this is something completely. Are these specialised kites? They seem to fly really slowly compared to normal outdoor kites
