Educators ‘outraged’ after attorneys argue 1st-grade teacher shot in school is ‘workplace injury’
What happened to holding the parent liable for what their kids do? Like the Oxford MI shooting the parents were charged. Lets keep doing that, keep charging the parents for the kids crimes. Maybe parents will take a more vested interest in what the fuck their kids are doing, watching, websites they are viewing.

This sounds very unscientific. Have you seen how people react to Sweet Caroline? They start beating things and singing along aggressively. Hammering the stearing wheel seems dangerous.

Sadly no, you can get close but it's either some or none of those features

I have a Sonoff S31 on my fridge for about 3 years now for power monitoing and have had no issues. I'm sure the fact I don't switch it on and off and it's locked to stay on on power up helps prolong it's life. If you never switch the load I don't see how it's life could be impacted. But I do have a temp sensor on the fridge so any failures I would be alerted to.

That's why I said the option would be there if they chose it. They wouldn't be required to but it would be nice that they had the option to fight for their life.

But the solution could be as simple as the gun is locked and retrievable by the teacher either by biometrics or code. It could also trigger a school wide alarm if the firearm is released so it would give other classes a chance to lock down. The option is there if the teacher needs it they don't need to be having the gun on themselves.
