I have just been permanently banned for having a discussion in r/unpopularopinion for having...an unpopular opinion. Because the person I was discussing it with reported me when I basically backed them in to a logic corner.

I got a 3 day ban and when I appealed and asked if I could report the mod I was given a permanent ban. Reddit is full of power hungry mods that push their agenda.
