It's cringe culture, the same reason people make fun of weebs or anyone else who goes outside of the "norm". There's also the issue that some people think that it's too childish or too sexual (or both at once, somehow)

Threads won't take off as a Twitter replacement, it doesn't allow any NSFW. A lot of the people I know only use Twitter because it allows NSFW art to be posted.

I would try to found my own payment processor/credit card company that would be more NSFW-friendly. Apparently all the payment processors hate porn/nsfw which is why sites like to try to ban it so much. I want NSFW content creators to have a home too.

I don't know how easy this would be but if you could do that across multiple instances you could have [email protected][email protected] (etc) and view all the different questions at once.
