Are there any Lemmy/Mbin instances by women for women?
Lemmy has an undeniable woman problem that it carried over from Reddit. I've lost count of the number of pathetic blokes that I have blocked on here for anti feminism.

Washington State Police Officer & Convicted Murderer Shows Off Tattoos His Lawyers Fought To Hide
The big red flag for me is the Mjölnir tat with the Orthala rune on his abdomen. Its one of the stranger ways of claiming they have some sort of pure Aryan herratage ethno-nationalists are often fans of using.
To put it another way, this guy is as neo-nazi as they come.

While I won't tell people exactly what to search, I can guarantee that I can find malware first try on Google Play. Google Play Integrity is just as dodgy.

Lemm.ee Conservative Community has had an Elon Nazi salute post up for two days now.

Thanks. My concern is being federated with such a community in the first place. It is a shame there isn't a community-wide way to block just one community from an instance.

I think its important to highlight that Odysee and Rumble are both "free speech" platforms that neo-nazis love to use to platform their calls for violence.

It's all in the name
Plain clothes are always incredibly obvious and oblivious to that fact. I've known them to stop and search people because they are baffled someone spotted them.

'The Boys' star Valorie Curry asks for 'boundaries' from fans
Quick note that I see the article is from PinkNews, who have recently had a large number of former staff come out against their leadership for transphobia, ableism, racism, misogyny, and an incredibly toxic workplace culture. This includes recordings of Cohen saying stuff that frankly promotes this sort of fan behaviour.

Heartbreaking: This Man Wants to Protest Drag Story Hour but He’s Not Allowed Within 100 Feet of a Library
Strangely enough I can think of an example where this was the case. One of a nearby city's regular DQSH protestors was given a bail condition to not enter libraries after he flashed a librarian to "demonstrate what the degenerates are doing to our kids".

I'm not sure about you but I don't go around saying the N word or paying people in developing nations to hold up incitements towards very real genocides. Felix isn't a Nazi but he directly contributed to the climate that allowed them to come out of the woodwork and act as they are doing now.

Email them at [email protected]. Hopefully if enough complain, they will add a toggle.
They also have a community cli client where the one example of a nag message is easy enough to remove on line 80 of cli.py https://github.com/jonasjancarik/protonvpn-cli-community/

The first word they did this with was cis. This will keep happening and the attacks will get worse until people act. Leave Twitter

‘FuckLAPD.com’ Lets Anyone Use Facial Recognition to Instantly Identify Cops
Putting it out there for someone to do this for cops in the UK. I can't run infrastructure but the cops terrorise out local community and constantly refuse to identify themselves/turn off their badge cam.

Pirate IPTV Arrests in Sweden Should Include Users, Rightsholders Tell Govt.
Paramount, Sony, 20th Century Fox, Disney, Universal, Nordisk, and Warner Brothers are all part of this "Rights Alliance" group. Each of them have used, or plan to use, generative AI going forward - which, by design, is unable to abide by copyright since it is trained on whatever they can get their hands on.
This is yet more "one rule for them and one rule for everyone else" from leaches that are desperate to profit from the work of others and punish anyone who won't pay into their state-enforced protection racket.

I monitor far-right groups pretty intensively and a good chunk of Paedophile Hunters are key organisers of said groups.
Its also not uncommon for far-right groups to be family operations where the adults will groom their teenage children into organizing and encourage their children to date other, often older, fascist organisers.

Social media sites should have 'reverse' Parental Controls; where adult children can block their boomer/senior parents' accounts from viewing conspiracy and radicalizing content.
I just keep their Facebook accounts logged in on my phone. Every few months, I will go onto their profiles and unlike pages like "Wear your poppy with pride" and deradicalize their algorithm. Poppies for British boomers on Facebook are like Elsa and Spiderman on YouTube for babies.

Man 'refused entry into US' as border control catch him with bald JD Vance meme
See - this is the thing with people going on about how its so oppressive in countries outside of "The West" where they will arrest people for insulting their king on Facebook or some shit.
We are no better. I'm not American but Britain does the same kind of shit. Read some declassified police case files, the cops pick on weird shit on people's phones.
