What is something that sounds 100% false but is actually 100% true?
Cleopatra was born closer to the invention of cellphones than the building of the pyramids

I think the infinite growth part is a big part of the problem: "Growth for the sake of growth is the ideology of the cancer cell"

If I recall correctly it was a rogue developer that decided to make a fully nude model and put Elliot's head on it. So it isn't a model of his body at the time, but still obviously a pretty big breach of trust.
Also this article was written in 2015 well before Elliot's transition so that why it uses the older pronouns. I'm definitely a big believer in using a person's proferred pronouns but I don't it is "unfortunate" that older things have their old pronouns in them.

Every generation has some product/ingredient that they didn’t know was dangerous at the time: tobacco, lead, asbestos, etc. What is that item for this generation?

If you could have one small thing as a superpower. What would it be and why?

There's a French idiom for this: "Avoir l'Esprit d'Escalier" which means "The Wisdom of the Staircase". Basically, you often think of the best thing to say after you left and are walking down the staircase.

What movies are worth rewatching?
Primer or really any good time travel movie. For Primer, you pretty much have to re-watch out to make sense of what is going on. Highly recommended though!

You can only drink one drink for the rest of your life, but it cannot be water. What do you pick?
OK, well I guess if water isn't allowed at all then I'll have to go with the Dehydrated Water canister from Space Quest 1

Couples, what secret language do you use to tell each other details that the company you're in doesn't understand or notice?
Most people around us usually get it so isn't really a "secret" language, but my wife and I are big Simpsons fans so we talk in quotes all the time.
One that gets a lot of play is "I'm going... to... stalk... Lenny and Carl" for when we're going somewhere but really sure what we're going to do

But I love death
I mean I think it's pretty telling that there are lots of plant based versions of meat based food, but not the other way around. Nobody is trying to replicate the taste of salads in meat form

You probably don’t need a masters degree to debunk this one.

Behind the Bastards just recently did a two part story about how The Dilbert Guy lost his mind. It's a great podcast and goes through the whole history of him falling hard for Trump in recent years. Part of it seems to come from a very traumatic health issue where he almost lost his ability to speak. It certainly doesn't absolve him but it kind of explains what pushed him over the edge.
Here's the first part if anyone is interested:

Do you use a place mat and how old are you?
Yep we use placemats in our house. It was the first chore we ever gave to my daughter - to gather up the placemats after dinner and put them away in the drawer. I'm 37 by the way.

There is a logical reason why numbers like 12, 24, and 60 are used in a lot of systems. They are highly composite numbers so they have lots of prime factors which means there are lots more options to break them into whole groups.

Same here. Only complaint so far is I haven't seen a way to adjust the font yet. I don't like the default one. Seems a bit too big for me.
