You can also try to give the child NULL as middle name for additional fun.

Dodge Chargers Now Have Pop-Up Ads at Every Stoplight... Just What Nobody Asked For
Why? Well, probably because Dodge badly needs the money. The brand’s U.S. sales plummeted 29% in 2024
This'll help sales, I'm sure.

Not allowed to work from home
Our boss was freaking out over people sometimes doing some private calls during work hours and at a certain point absolutely forbade it. So yeah, people would just end the call at 17:00 sharp and switch off the work phone. It took one week before that rule was rescinded.

Trump Cryptically Declares, ‘You Won’t Have to Vote Anymore’ If He Wins Second Term
Reply in thread
People asked the question before. It went something like:
"You do realize that he'll be a dictator, right?"
" We don't care. He'll be our dictator and that's all that matters."
And then they'll say they do it for freedom and democracy.

How programmers comment their code
Best comment ever was "It used to work like this but person at client demanded it work like that on this date" when the client complained it shouldn't work like that.

Meta tried to do the same. The EU response was to ask when they'd leave to plan the going away party. Meta was a lot less confrontational after that.

Top news app caught sharing “entirely false” AI-generated news
Sometimes, the AI gets the little details wrong.
In school we always get an assignment to compare the same story in different newspapers. It was amazing to see them all have different details. And that was before the internet existed. So AI here isn't better, just cheaper.
Other times, the AI wholly fabricates events.
We call that Boris Johnson.

I thought Britain was worlds away from Trump’s America – until I needed to get an abortion | Anonymous
your body, my choice
That policy doesn't even work. Romania tried this. Decree 770 outlaw all abortions and contraceptives. Parents dumped their children at orphanages because they couldn't afford to raise them. The regime was in the end toppled, in large part because of all the children raised in poverty and from orphanages.

Anon thinks about CPUs
They didn't start it with rocks. The first calculators used gears. Those were hard to reprogram. So they started using relais. That worked but was very slow. Then they found out that lamps (vacuum tubes) could take the place of relais but these wore down too fast. Then someone figured out that rock stuff (silicium) could do the same as a vacuum tube. After that it became a race to make them as small as possible to cram more of them together.
