That update for the swipes

I have to say I was expecting configurable swiping like collapse comment trees (swipe left) and go back (swipe right) that I’ve been using in Apollo. I keep (down)voting on accident.

I’d rather be able to vote only by tapping arrows which atm collapses the comment.

Lemmy, AITA for disliking copied content from Reddit in the AmITheAsshole community?

If you were truly loyal to Lemmy and not going back all the time like a sucker, you wouldn’t even know, so yes, YTA.

But seriously, if you were to try to fertilize land that is desert, you would have to plant millions and millions of plants and babysit them because they wouldn’t survive on their own yet, before the ecosystem changes and becomes relatively self-sufficient. So I think copying and crossposting is a legit way to boost the community, at least for now.

What is the biggest action that got you to where you are now?

Saying yes when my neighbor asked me if I wanted to go out to party with him and the girl next to him I hadn’t seen before.

Because of her I said yes (although I wasn’t in the mood to go out at that moment), and now she’s my wife, we have kids, I moved to where she lived, became self-employed, and we bought a house together.

Just because of that yes. Try to say yes to invites, people.
