His song is what got me into this genre all those years ago. It was one of those moments in life I can still remember clearly because it was just so powerful. My school was having a movie night and I showed up because random movies are fun, not knowing Drive would change my (musical taste) life.

Ah man, Pacific Coast Highway is one of my favorite synthwave songs from when I was getting into the genre. That sucks. Rest in peace.

His whole discography is awesome. When I heard the Drive soundtrack, for some reason I thought it was one of those one-off things, and I didn't look at the rest of his discography until years later when somebody gave me a specific recommended order to listen to the rest of his discography. It's all rad. I just listened to it all again when I found out he died. What a shame he passed too soon.
