'He is in serious jeopardy': Legal expert warns Trump his back is against the wall

How many times over the last 4 years have I been told "Oh, they really got him now!" Do any wealthy politicians face consequences for the shady stuff they do( I include democrats in this category)?

And then I think about George Floyd who tried to buy a pack of smokes with a phony $20, and possibly didn't even know it was counterfeit, but was killed shortly thereafter.

This is not the America I want

Criteria

I think of myself as a neutodivergent person but I am annoyed by neurodivergent people who act like everything is binary yes/no black/white full volume/absolute silence. Like, everyone in the world knows that the gas pedal in the car is not an on/off switch and believe it or not but other things in life are like that.

Rep. Lauren Boebert Introduces Bill to Abolish the ATF

Sure! Let's eliminate the Department of Education, EPA, ATF, Department of the Interior, FCC, National Science Foundation, Department of Agriculture, the FTC and the NRC, the Department of Labor and DOE, the BIA and the BLM and why the hell not the DOT as well.

That way we can put more funds and manpower into making sure people's washroom use doesn't controvene Federal Anti-trans bathroom regulations.

Can you give me some tips about your niche hobby?

VX hobbyists- I've noticed a lot of people start off by configuring their encabulators with the original series of kleinhoffer cam ratios, trying to get maximum deltas with the least vacuum pressure possible. It's really better to start with dylomatic induction coefficients even if it initially seems more complicated, you'll have an easier time later with the more commonly available j-discs.

A majority of migrant workers employed with H-1B visas are paid below-median wages: Large tech firms, including Amazon, Google, and Microsoft, use visa program to underpay workers

Woah, woah, woah! Guys, Guys! This is conservative, we don't talk about worker's rights or unfair pay or exploitation!

We talk about bootstraps and opportunity and personal responsibility! We talk about what's good for American industry and what benefits America's robber barons!

How do I quit smoking?

Here's my advice on how to really and actually quit: make the decision to quit, and keep making that decision. Every time you feel yourself thinking "just one more.." remake that decision to quit. This was the only way I was successful. Keep making that decision and keep reminding yourself about your decision. You can do it.

Vance Torched The European Elite Face-to-Face and They Absolutely Hated It

Lol. The whole meeting was about ending the war on Ukraine without giving in to ruzzia, and to talk about Europe spending more in defense ( which would benefit the US defense industry, and US workers) but couchfucker went on a pointless off-topic rant like a weird uncle at Thanksgiving. It was entirely for US media consumption so Americans can be proud the vice presidents being tough on those dang ole European panseys.

And look! Many very stupid people are eating it up. Don't be fooled by that bullshit, it's all theatre.

What's a trait you look for in potential partners that seems uniquely in your trait wishlist?

I had to marry my wife because all my life I had been looking for someone to jam with. I have met some great musicians, many people far more talented than I am, but it was always hard to find someone who I could instantly and easily connect that flow with and rock out together.

When I met my wife and I heard her strum and sing for the first time I knew she was special. I don't know how to describe it but our musics can connect in a very easy and pleasing way. She has many other excellent qualities, and in addition she's hot, but that musical connection is the one essential thing that brought us together. I feel so connected to her, she is my best friend forever and it all started from sharing musical joy together.

FAA embroiled in lawsuit alleging it turned away 1,000 applicants based on race

The issue actually goes back to Reagan. The professional air traffic controllers organization (PATCO) went on strike in 1981 because of understaffing, long hours, poor working conditions and low pay.

Reagan fired them all and achieved two results: 1. set the precident that understaffing, long hours, poor working conditions and low pay were just fine for American air safety, and 2. started the long grind of devaluing skilled labor and erosion of workers rights in this country. We are experiencing the cascading consequences today.

Arizona Democrats fret about discovery that coud see rigged election

In 2004, Arizona passed a law requiring voters to provide proof of citizenship to vote

Prop 200, the 2004 Arizona law that started all this trouble, was pushed hard by republicans and in particular promoted by the Federation for American Immigration Reform.

The Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) is a nonprofit, anti-immigration organizationThe Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) is a nonprofit, anti-immigration organization in the United States. The Southern Poverty Law Center classifies FAIR as a HATE GROUP with ties to WHITE SUPREMACIST groups. FAIR was founded in 1979 by Michigan surgeon and white nationalist John Tanton.[13][14][15] https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Federation_for_American_Immigration_Reform

So the strange story here is that republicans and white nationalists, in an effort to stop nonwhite people from voting, created this situation in which a large number of white republicans are in fact ineligible to vote, and have been voting illegally for years.

Now that democrats have discovered this issue, white nationalist republicans are trying to blame democrats for the problem that white nationalist republicans created.

Does it make sense to buy a lifetime supply of honey?

Having had a 50lb bucket of honey I can tell you that honey use goes up dramatically because you say to yourself "well I have so much I can just use it for this, and that, and a little more on my toast..." and then friends come around asking for a little here and a little there. Unless you can be super disciplined in a way that I cannot, 50 pounds will not last more that a couple years.

U.S. homelessness surged 18 percent to record level, annual report says

Interestingly the modern era of homelessness in america started in the 80's with the Reagan administration, beginning with deinstitutinalization of the mentally ill, budget cuts to HUD and deliberate weakening of workers rights and protections.

The oft-repeated false idea that "the free market" will automatically find the most efficient solutions for everything has been proven wrong again and again, and here is yet another example.
