Side Effects of Ketamine Could Explain a Lot About Elon Musk's Behavior

Ketamine, like any drug, should be thoroughly researched. Whether good, bad, or mixed, the knowledge would be useful.

In any case, I think that being wealthy is the most dangerous drug of all. It frees you from the consequences of your actions. Being invulnerable from society, prevents you from knowing what it means to be harmed. It is why rich folks tend to be assholes, since they don't understand the reality of being human. They are more akin to space aliens or dragons.

...at this point, excessive wealth is something I believe to be a drug that harms society, not individuals.

AOC says she's worth less than $500,000 after kickback claims — and seems to get kudos from Trump fans in response

I hope that AOC has a security detail, a go bag and plan, and an ideal state to reside in. It is my expectation for Yarvin's Cabel to try to capture or assasinate her at some point, since she is one of the few major lightning rods to be the president of a Free America. We will need great people to organize the defense of our people against the fascist agenda.

Bernie, AOC, others, stay safe and strong. 🖖

Nancy Pelosi Gets a Surprising New Primary Challenger

Term and age limits will be needed if the Constitution is improved, alongside ditching first-past-the-post voting. A great deal of America's rot comes from the stagnation caused by career politicians who simply exist to occupy a seat.

Sure, we might lose 'wise' leaders, but it has become pretty damn clear that archaic politicians are the plugged toilets of Democracy. All they do is cause a mess if not promptly handled. The Geronocrats must go.

Under Trump, AI Scientists Are Told to Remove ‘Ideological Bias’ From Powerful Models

While I do prefer absolute free speech for individuals, I have no illusions about what Trump is saying behind closed doors: "Make it like me, and everything that I do." I don't want an government to decide for me and others what is right.

Also, science, at least the peer reviewed stuff, should be considered free of bias. Real world mechanics, be it physics or biology, can't be considered biased. We need science, because it makes life better. A false science, such as phrenology or RFK's la-la-land ravings, needs to be discarded because it doesn't help anyone. Not even the believers.

*Permanently Deleted*

I think the issue in America, is that the Constitution only addressed political power, but failed to account for fiscal strength. Money is inherently a thing that manipulates the fates of individuals, companies, and nations alike. By not setting down rules, limitations, and expectations regarding economics, the Founding Fathers allowed a key form of power go unaddressed.

The vast majority of Project 2025's major backers are wealthy people, who have far beyond what any normal person can ever hope to possess. This imbalance means that workers have to sacrifice much time, money, and energy to be barely heard on a single issue, while a rich person can just hire experts to massage every aspect of their many messages and to deliver it everywhere with a mighty voice.

IMO, we will need a Constitution v2.0 that fixes not only assorted political flaws like the voting system, but also prevents wealth from being a microphone that only a few can afford.

As I'm sure most of you are aware, Reddit is now censoring Luigi's name entirely and have been giving out warnings and bans as they are considering it to be promoting violence.

Reddit is going heavy on censoring the thought of protest. For example, I suggested throwing rotten fruit, eggs, and using a megaphone to bother JD Vance at his residence. Because, bluntly, 'polite' protest misses the whole bloody point of protest. It is all about making the people in power feel uncomfortable, and to warn them if they keep it up, people will open the 4th box.

I got banned, which will end in three days. But more importantly, it has convinced me: Reddit is controlled by those who don't understand nor value the 1st Amendment, and why it is crucial for preventing the 2nd Amendment from being exercised.

While it sucks to harass people, the alternative if things progress further is much worse.

Donald Trump's "Peace Deal" is meant to give Russia everything they want

IMO, The EU should straight up ally with Ukraine with a path to membership. I think that allowing Russia to be as it is, would be a huge mistake. In a conflict with America, that would likely mean having a Russian knife to one's back. Breaking the Russia we know, developing Ukraine, and maybe even help some form of Neorussia democracy with a Marshall Plan, would all contribute to getting ready for a fight with America.

‘The tyranny of apps’: those without smartphones are unfairly penalised, say campaigners

I am still on a flip phone. It is usually silent, and I don't spend much time with it at all. While I am missing out on discounts and such, I simply hate the idea of constantly using a phone. Email is my telecommunication of choice, but receptionists don't understand the idea, unfortunately.

My household bought a Rinnai water heater, and the bastard needed a phone to set the temperature. Thing is, it couldn't communicate with the two or three phones that were used on it. Fortunately, there was an old-school modification for a physical keypad, but that had to be bought separately.

Phones are just not my thing.
