Apple support their version of right to repair.

You have the right to repair your Apple device on their terms, with their overpriced tools, with their overpriced parts, following their restrictive terms, and authenticate almost every repair with Apple.

If you try and get a part from another supplier, or source your own genuine parts from dead devices that's going to cause "bugs", like faceID or auto brightness not working if you have the audacity to repair "their" device.

They're also going to work like hell to use any loophole that allows them to deny self repair.

Remember, it's Apple's device, you're just using it.

I would complain and stop shopping there, and encourage others to complain as well. I'm a techie at heart.

But the only thing my car needs to do is act as a Bluetooth speaker/mic for my phone, and have a wireless charging mount.

When I need to use the phone for GPS/etc it goes on the mount.

When I turn on my car it connects to my phone over Bluetooth and starts playing music. Even if it's in my pocket (shorter trips)

It works, it's fast, it's simple.

It's simple. Either you are one of the few enterprise customers they want to keep (of which there are only a handful), or you need to have started a transition away from VMware the moment the purchase was announced.

Which completely sucks for the industry.

Don't forget that appdata nowadays has 3 sub folders, local, locallow, and roaming.

Also there's C:\programdata

Also some programs just store it in the user folder, the documents folder, or games/ my games folder if they are a game.
