Trump, the 'America First' candidate, has a new preoccupation: Imperialism
His platform was supposed to be grocery prices and immigration. What happened to those?

To hand power 'back to the people,' House Dems propose amendment to reverse Citizens United
Instead of throwing shit at the wall and seeing what sticks, immediately get rid of the gerontocracy (Schumer, Pelosi), regroup, find a leader with some balls and declare open warfare on Republicans. It's not like there isn't any ammunition.

I think it's about time to finally leave Reddit. I've been there for almost 15 years and I just got my first permanent ban from a legal advice sub for one single comment. I'm not sure what I said wrong because I never use inflammatory language. Oh well, I already left Twitter, time to bail on Reddit too.

This can't be real can it?
I'm 65 and the country is essentially fucked for the remainder of my lifetime. The judiciary, federal appointments, cabinet secretaries, SCOTUS... We're screwed

Opinion: Brace yourselves: whatever crazy, awful things Trump may have done to date, it’s only going to get worse
One thing that concerns me that not many people have talked about is what's going to happen to the US dollar as the world's reserve currency? More and more countries want nothing to do with us and while the US dollar has a huge edge over any other currency, the US becoming a pariah is probably going to impact that.

Most young people are no longer proud to be Americans, poll finds
I'm 65 now. When I was a kid, I was relatively patriotic. Civil rights, moon landing, all that stuff. Now? Not so much. The US is still much better than many other countries but it's not the world leader that used to be.

1% rule: 1% of users actively create new content, while the other 99% only lurk.
I only say something if I have something to say. And the larger platform gets, the harder it gets to be heard.

And now Bezos is trying to insert ads everywhere
I stopped watching network television because of ads, then I stopped watching free streaming because of too many ads (Pluto TV, Crackle), I get a basic subscription to Paramount through Walmart and I stopped watching that because of the ads. I have an Amazon prime subscription because I get it for one half off but I rarely use prime video an if they start showing ads, I won't use it at all.

I've tried talking to Trump voters. It's fucking impossible because they live in an alternate universe and see a completely different reality than everybody else.

Don't feel bad for the Moderators of Reddit
I sort of understand that they are a necessary evil but I really get tired of seeing stuff like this

Donald Trump's Gen Z popularity plunges
Either all of the polling sites are lying or that impotent clown still has a 47% approval rating. Why? I have no idea.

I hate how everything requires you to download a shitty proprietary data harvesting app nowadays when everything can be done just fine without an app.
They put Bluetooth in our apartment complex laundromat and if you don't have a smart phone or Internet service on your phone, you don't do laundry.
