"Tumble" does not mean "occur rapidly" here. It means "broken". When a world record is broken, it falls or tumbles. These are climate world records, like "hottest day ever".

That was just to August 6th. The last 4 days were also the hottest, so 40 days now. Assuming today is also the hottest August 11, tomorrow will be actually be 41. :)

All the images loaded for me on Jerboa 0.39. They loaded very slowly, though. Maybe an issue with the image host?
