I'm under no illusion of what labour is. But it's the best we've had in 14 years... they did good things, but the bad things are adding up fast. Saying this alone probably puts me as a labour sympathiser but I'm not that against Starmer, but he surely ruffled a lot of feathers for someone that allegedly did nothing.

The problem is, so much is a zero sum game to people and they just can't snap out of it...
How many times have you heard "that's what's wrong with the left!" Or "typical right racism" while unfortunately, the right nonsense is far more extreme and out to hurt people, neither side will ever consider the other perspective.
I am very much on the left, but anything agricultural is sitting square on the right. I come from farming family and I've seen how bad it gets, if i were to vote (which i can't, yey immigration!) How would i vote? I wouldn't vote for the right but then I'd be watching more of our farming go down in flames... idk what the farming is like in US on political spectrum, but here in UK no one is truly championing it.

Data analyst finds 'AI stigma' on Steam can reduce the number of reviews a game gets by around 53%—and the reviews it does get are more negative
Reply in thread
You will not find a game engine without some AI tool. Same way as majority of devs will use AI in some capacity.
People only care about AI when presented with it. If non of these games had AI generated visual elements, people would be non the wiser.

A worker won $600,000 after Twitter said his goodbye messages showed he had resigned. The case holds valuable lessons for staff and employers.

But people don't understand it.
Hell, no email sent or received is yours and likely can never be truly deleted off your company's exchsnge. Same with files etc.
It's not common knowledge, let's not pretend it is and educate people.

Olympians are turning to OnlyFans to fund dreams as they face a 'broken' finance system
Reply in thread
Do you know why? Because rich people didn't want to compete against the poor. If you couldn't afford to compete, you didn't. The rich can't didn't fancy meeting Gary the local bouncer in a boxing match.
History of Olympics is fucked up.

That's not his problem. The company shouldn't be running on a skeleton crew. I imagine he didn't choose to be sick for those 40 days?

Reddit is removing links to Luigi Mangione's manifesto
Reply in thread
No he isn't.
Let's not act like bunch of idiots. It's all about money. If advertisers see posts they don't like, do you think they want to see their brand next to a post about Luigi?
WE CANNOT BE THIS STUPID. It's how they win. You might be making that comment as a gag or joke, but many clearly aren't reading it as such. The answer is ALWAYS money.

Trump aims to end birthright citizenship, says American citizens with family here illegally may be deported
Reply in thread
How is this an issue? How many people do you honestly go abroad explicitly to give birth there to gain the system?
Sounds like you fell for yet another outrage clickbait. If 100 people do this, whatever. I rather have this than someone being born in a country and lives there their entire life but has no right of nationality there because their parents weren't there for 5 years prior to their birth or whatever the fuck the law says.
UK has no citizenship by birth type and it hurts way more people than could ever hope to abuse it.
