The fact that you can’t run through Windows setup w/o internet and an online account is absolute bullshit
Reply in thread
The point isn't that an easy option for the bypass exists, but that a bypass is required at all. It shouldn't be.

GTA 6 leaks prompt Take-Two to subpoena Microsoft for Windows device IDs of everyone in three Discord servers — daily gameplay leaks shatter cloud of secrecy around the much-hyped game
Wasn't there a thread the other week warning everyone about Microsoft device fingerprinting and there were chuds in the comments saying it was a nothing-burger and the fingerprinting was necessary for licensing or some shit? Talk about timing!

CEO of Palantir Says AI Means You’ll Have to Work With Your Hands Like a Peasant
These morons really think AI is going to allow them to replace the technical folks. The same technical folks they severely loathe because they're the ones with the skills to build the bullshit they dream up, and as such demand a higher salary. They're so fucking greedy that they are just DYING to cut these people out in order to make more profits. They have such inflated egos and so little understanding of the actual technology they really think they're just going to be able to use AI to replace technical minds going forward. We're on the precipice of a very funny "find out" moment for some of these morons.

King Charles tells Britain to weather the cost of living crisis whilst wearing a hat worth 5 billion pounds.
I'm not British, but it really is bizarre seeing this old geezer actually dressed up in this stuff. It'd almost be comical if it wasn't for the fact that he's dead fucking serious.

Enigmatic
I do not understand this but maybe it's because I'm a guy and keep my keys in my front pocket. I keep literally the BARE MINIMUM of things on my key chain. So far as I even have separate keychains for separate vehicles instead of having one key chain for all of them. My SO on the other had has 2lbs of trinkets on her keychain.

GoPro is in serious financial trouble. Action camera giant is at risk for potential bankruptcy
Not surprising, honestly. DJI had been eating their lunch and GoPro never could figure out how to keep their damn cameras from overheating all the time. Everyone I know switched to DJI.

I can undress, shower, dry and dress in less than 10. WHAT ARE YOU DOING
It's not a fucking speedrun homie. This isn't shower any%. I'm usually listening to music and enjoying the hot water. Plus if it's a wash day, washing and conditioning long hair takes a while.

Company Requiring Invasive MS app to use Teams/Outlook on Phone
Yes, if you want company data on a device then the company would be remiss to not want some level of control over that device. This isn't some big brother-esque conspiracy. They want to ensure you're not stealing company information or doing something stupid which might cause company data to be leaked or stolen by a bad actor. This is pretty common cyber security stuff. Now if the company REQUIRES you to have company data on your phone and does not have the option to provide a company phone to you then I can see a reason to be upset.

Scare screens Irrelevant
The people saying "just pay for premium" don't seem to understand that in the beginning YouTube was free and had no ads. When google purchased it they promised to keep it that way. Then they slowly started with ads. At first they were pretty unobtrusive banners, then a short skippable preroll then multiple preroll then unskippable preroll. The reason I refuse to pay for premium is because Google created this issue and is now selling the solution. I refuse to be a part of that. It has nothing to do with the creators.

Americans are holding onto devices longer than ever and it’s costing the economy
Yeah, no shit. No one wants to buy a new $1200 phone that does the exact same shit as the last $1200 phone.
