Google’s 36% search revenue share with Apple is 3x what Android OEMs get
To be fair Android OEMs are using Android, you know, Google’s mobile OS. They are paying Apple a premium because they own their own OS and have significant market share.

Steam Deck hits over 10,000 verified and playable games
Bought my wife a steam deck for Mother’s Day and she is already addicted to it. I’m glad to see how successful it has been so far! It really is a great system.

Thank you Steve Huffman for curing my reddit addiction!
Agreed. I also downloaded a rss reader and am doing better about actually reading articles instead of going to comments to get the synopsis.

Let's talk travel/insulated mugs.
I pretty much exclusively drink out of Yeti drinkware. You can get the specific travel mug which I’m sure is great, but I mostly drink coffee at home and use a more standard style mug.
I also have their rambler cups which are bigger, but you can still put in hot coffee since the outside won’t get hot. Love the Yeti drinkware and managing temperature is super simple. Put the lid on if you want it hot (or cold) for hours or leave it off if you need it to cool off a little quicker. Plus everything being completely dishwasher safe is what I love most. I don’t have to hand wash anything for a nice mug. The only compromise in my opinion is they are expensive, but worth it.

Memmy is hitting all the notes Apollo used to hit
Memmy has been great! I appreciate how transparent and engaged the dev has been. Anyone reading this from the Memmy app - make sure you are reporting bugs and giving as much detail as possible about what you did before the crash/bug happened. Screenshots are great too for devs so they can see where you are in the app and what you are seeing.

7 auto giants unite to build universal network of 30K+ clean-energy-powered fast chargers to North America
This is great news! I look forward to learning more about this new joint venture company. Let’s hope they really move on this can start installing stations by next year. We need another network that is reliable other than just Tesla.

Polestar will adopt North American Charging Standard to enable access to Tesla Supercharger network in USA and Canada
I knew this had to be coming quickly with Volvo announcing earlier this week. I was surprised Polestar wasn’t part of that announcement honestly.

Advice for sleeping in a hotel with a baby
My wife and I have done this with my kiddo, he is 2 years old now, but we traveled with him when he was 1 several times. So our kid is accustomed to sleeping with white noise on in his room, we bring along a travel white noise machine with us to keep that going. We have that going a little louder than we do at home, it helps muffle our sounds/ hallway noise after he goes to sleep. We usually don’t hold him until he is asleep at night, but on vacations we do. Our kid is usually so worn out each night from a day of so much new stuff he sleeps hard to start the night.
If you plan on watching TV, I would suggest turning that on before your baby goes to sleep so that sound is “baked in” to the white noise for them. If the TV has a music channel or a things to do at this hotel/city channel that usually works for us. We also usually turn off any overhead lights and just go with necessary lamps to try and keep the room a little darker.
If your room has a huge bathroom or closet that would be another option of where to setup the pack n’ play so they have a darker/quieter space- that tends to be pretty uncommon though.
I hope something I wrote helps! Have a great trip!

Tesla finally confirms Supercharger V4 has 350 kW output

I think they need to upgrade all v3 supercharges to 1,000 volts or at least announce a plan to do so to get Hyundai, Kia, & Lucid to sign up.

When people ask what shows I put on for my kid:
The biggest joke to me is Disney+ recommending puppy dog pals after we run out of episodes. Just offer to start Bluey over and save me some clicks lol.

I think they were the last major charging company to announce and really the only other major nation wide network compared to Tesla that manages their own stations.
Still waiting on several car manufacturers.
