My brother is a total Palintir supporter because he sees his stocks rising. I tell him he’s supporting evil but he says their CEO is a Democrat and has nothing to do with Thiel🙄. Like most Americans he’s ok with evil if it pays well.

A lot of Americans have 0 concept of how open trade has benefited them. They just think that they don’t need the rest of the world and we’ll just do it on our own. It’s unbelievably stupid but it’s unfortunately how a sizable portion of the US thinks.

I was camping by myself near the Indian Heaven Wilderness in the south Cascades and two owls were having a hootenanny for about 15 minutes, and it was echoing in the canyon. It was such a cool, spooky experience, I loved it.
