I wonder what decomp would be like on the Moon. I imagine at worst this dino would be a mummy, but it'd be pretty wild to find a barely rotten T Rex.

Everytime i come across a 3d printing post
Also, the most common 3D printing filament is made of the bioplastic polylactic acid, which is typically derived from corn. Whether that is strictly "better" from an environmental perspective is a fair question.

Or they're vibroblades? Which are already canon.

What's your take on private trackers?
Reply in thread
The organization and typical submission requirements are what really put them over public trackers for me.
Public tracker: It's this big and this many files. Figure it out.*
Private tracker: All the metadata
* Experience may vary. Post is overly dramatic for comedic effect

Steam Controller and Puck CAD files now available! [Creative Commons Attribution Non Commercial Share Alike 4.0]

What I understand of it is that it is more for printing replacement parts (non-electronic) and general understanding of the controller
Edit: Having finally downloaded the files, it is just the exterior. Probably couldn't print any replacement parts, although the .stp files would get you close. Definitely just for designing accessories (and printing adorable tiny Steam controllers)

About that...

Even the people I know that are otherwise relatively tech savvy don't do this.
Not to say it's a good operating system, though.

What are the demands of the No Kings protests? What's the plan if they win?
Reply in thread
In that metaphor, though, the passengers have agreed to prevent the bus from driving off the cliff. From my experience with the No Kings protests, there isn't an overarching demand other than "Maybe don't be so terrible" and a general expression of displeasure.

Does Christmas mean anything to you?
I won't lie, usually Christmas is my favorite time of year. Something about the music, getting to see all my family, and trying to find inventive ways to make friends and family happy through gifts always cheers me up. Never really had the money to go all out, but the spirit was there.
This year I just do not care. Usually I listen to dozens of hours of Christmas music and this year it is less than 2 hours so far. I'm not looking forward to giving or receiving gifts; it just feels so formulaic and rabidly consumerist. My usual comfort movies hold no interest for me. I'd skip it if I could. And all of that was before my grandmother died this past Saturday.

Would you be in favour of assisted dying being introduced for terminally ill patients in your country?

I think a legitimate concern for that one is what do you define as a disability worth terminating the baby's life for. Some would likely abuse it for eugenics.

I can't sit on the couch anymore without one (or both) of these goobers requesting a blanket fort. If they're desperate enough for a fix they'll even share
I thought my cat was strange for this same behavior. I should have known he wasn't the only one. He will borrow under the blanket himself if I don't have an entrance for him. Or paw at my leg until I make him one.

Why so many men like to play with a female character?
I was actually just thinking about that the other day. As far as I can tell, people tend to fall in to one of two camps:
I always make my characters completely different from me, so they often (maybe 60-70% of the time) end up being women. My friend always makes them look as close to himself as possible.
I think it comes down to different styles of roleplay. I'm myself every day. Why would I want to be myself but Cyberpunk? My friend, on the other hand, wants to imagine himself as being in that world.
And then you have the third camp of people who make their characters horny or humorous, which can be fun to do occasionally but I cannot imagine doing regularly.

The novel (written by Andrew Robinson) A Stitch in Time also confirms this physical attraction, if not specific examples of physical affection.

How do you store your grounded coffee?
In my coffee. Haha. I weigh out the amount of coffee I need before I grind it. That said, I also exclusively make cold brew, so I'm typically making enough for a few days.
