Wow, they really want this movie to be a success, huh? I mean, I do hope it succeeds, but dang.

Most recently I think the [Dan Da Dan Season 1 OP] (https://youtu.be/A1dnxXrpN-o) was something special! To be honest, any Creepy Nuts song as an OP goes hard. For example, I am also a big fan of the Call of The Night Season 2 OP. Those are the best two I've seen recently anyway!

Heck yes. I feel like the first season had a satisfying ending, but I am also ready for more. I hope they can keep the same tone.

This is a fun manga, so hopefully it turns out well. I feel like this will be a nice comfort watch and not too much more. But hey, it's always important to have something to put on when you just want some warm fuzzies.

I can't help but be worried that this is happening with the aid of AI. Of course it could work that way, but only if there are people proofreading and ensuring quality. I'm optimistic, but nervous that we might see a drop in the quality of translations. Fingers crossed for the best case scenario, of course.

That sure was something. With this being considered a prologue (episode 0, I guess), I assume it's just setting up the characters and world before it really gets going. I wasn't completely sold yet, but I will say that the ending of the episode was enough to have me give it another episode or two before deciding if I'll watch it or not. It does remind me a bit of ATRI from last year, but hopefully much better. The main protagonist is at least a bit more likeable right off the bat.

This might have been the best episode so far. The OWEL lady not trying to kidnap Amoru was a nice surprise. I feel like all the characters acted in a way that makes sense not only with their character, but also their current emotional states. If we can have more episodes like this, they might be able to make a true emotional arch for these characters, which would be very impressive.

This visual alone convinces me that I should check this out when it drops. Beautiful art on this; it's simple but expressive! Haha, reading the synopsis, this might be an interesting companion piece to This Monster Wants to Eat Me! Hopefully it doesn't fall in to the anime original trap of having to rush it's story. Guess I'll have to wait and see!

And people were saying that they wouldn't be able to do it. I have heard that this one is an enjoyable manga, so hopefully the adaptation turns out well. Gonna definitely check it out.

That was such a cute scene! This episode was the best one so far, in a large part because the CGI was better, but also because of this scene.

Been reading this one since this was announced. I do really enjoy the manga, so I hope they do it well. I'm worried it will only get one season, so hopefully they end it on a satisfying conclusion.

That was as crazy and weird as I was hoping for. I've only read the first couple chapters, but I'm hoping this can be something special. Science Saru and Paru Itagaki designs look so good in this. Now that we've kind of learned the main conceit, I'm hoping it can really start digging into some good story soon.

I know that he has a lot of shockingly violent films. Almost snuff-esq from what I've heard. Though I've never seen any, I know that Ichi the Killer is well known for a disturbing amount of violence.

Interesting. I wonder what it will have that makes it better than Anilist or MAL. If it did a better job of letting me know how many chapters are available, it might be worth using. Hopefully it can sync with the other big tracking sites to make things easier.

Agreed. I think that the answer to those questions could be used in a very interesting way. Narratively, I can think of so many things they could do with it. I wonder if we'll get the answers sooner, or if they will wait to drop it on us in a reveal at the end.

I thought this one was fun. I'm worried that the main character will become annoying if they just stick with the one joke, but at least for now I'm in. Mostly I just find the life of a mangaka to be fascinating. The whole industry is interesting, and maybe this can show a bit more of it, though I'll bet it'll be more office comedy than anything else.

For those who are interested in that industry, I really liked the look into the industry I got in the manga Itookashi from the writer of Call of the Night/Dagashi Kashi.

Ok, that one kid is crazy. What was up with him requesting that the kiss? But now that we're seeing what kind of world this is, I'm not surprised that the kids are all a bit crazy. The information we're getting into the current state of the world are actually fascinating and make sense with the themes that this anime seems to be trying to explore.

Also, I was already excited to see the magical Santa, but now you tell me that there is an anti-Santa squad called the St. Nick Pursuit Unit? I'm all in.

I've been mostly watching seasonals lately. I really need to go back and watch some more classics. That'll bulk up the top of the list, I'm sure.

Still can't quite decide how I feel about this one. I feel like the tone is all over the place. We have a fascist regime that use slavery, information control, and civilian murder but all their leaders are just wacky comic relief? I guess it is trying to keep the tone a bit lighter, but I feel like it undermines the serious shit that is happening. At least the other androids seem like interesting and credible threats. I hope we see more of that side of OWEL instead going forward.

Yeah, definitely not an uplifting story. I can't help but hope for the best for the characters, which definitely keeps me invested.
